Surah Hud Verse 27 - English Translation by Syed Vickar Ahamed
Surah Hudفَقَالَ ٱلۡمَلَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَوۡمِهِۦ مَا نَرَىٰكَ إِلَّا بَشَرٗا مِّثۡلَنَا وَمَا نَرَىٰكَ ٱتَّبَعَكَ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ أَرَاذِلُنَا بَادِيَ ٱلرَّأۡيِ وَمَا نَرَىٰ لَكُمۡ عَلَيۡنَا مِن فَضۡلِۭ بَلۡ نَظُنُّكُمۡ كَٰذِبِينَ
But the chiefs of the disbelievers from his people said: "We see (in) you only a man like ourselves: Nor do we see that any follow you except the lowest from us, (those who are) immature in judgment: Nor do we see in (all of) you any merit above us: In fact, we think you are all liars
