Surah Hud Verse 62 - English Translation by Abdul Hye
Surah Hudقَالُواْ يَٰصَٰلِحُ قَدۡ كُنتَ فِينَا مَرۡجُوّٗا قَبۡلَ هَٰذَآۖ أَتَنۡهَىٰنَآ أَن نَّعۡبُدَ مَا يَعۡبُدُ ءَابَآؤُنَا وَإِنَّنَا لَفِي شَكّٖ مِّمَّا تَدۡعُونَآ إِلَيۡهِ مُرِيبٖ
They said: “O Saleh! Surely you have been among us as a figure of good hope before this message. Do you now forbid us to worship what our fathers have worshipped? Surely, we are really in grave doubt as to that which you invite us to it.”
