Surah Yusuf Verse 42 - English Translation by Dr Kamal Omar
Surah Yusufوَقَالَ لِلَّذِي ظَنَّ أَنَّهُۥ نَاجٖ مِّنۡهُمَا ٱذۡكُرۡنِي عِندَ رَبِّكَ فَأَنسَىٰهُ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ ذِكۡرَ رَبِّهِۦ فَلَبِثَ فِي ٱلسِّجۡنِ بِضۡعَ سِنِينَ
And he said to that whom he thought that he is to be absolved and released out of those two: “Mention me to your (master-lord''. So Satan made him forget mentioning to his rabb. So (Yusuf) stayed in prison a few years (more) —
