Surah An-Nahl Verse 112 - English Translation by Safi Kaskas
Surah An-Nahlوَضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلٗا قَرۡيَةٗ كَانَتۡ ءَامِنَةٗ مُّطۡمَئِنَّةٗ يَأۡتِيهَا رِزۡقُهَا رَغَدٗا مِّن كُلِّ مَكَانٖ فَكَفَرَتۡ بِأَنۡعُمِ ٱللَّهِ فَأَذَٰقَهَا ٱللَّهُ لِبَاسَ ٱلۡجُوعِ وَٱلۡخَوۡفِ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَصۡنَعُونَ
And God proposes to you this parable: [Imagine, if you will,] a town that was once safe and secure, with its provisions coming to it abundantly from all places. Then it denied God's grace. So God caused it to experience all-encompassing misery-hunger and fear as a result of what they had done
