Surah Al-Baqara Verse 190 - English Translation by Dr Kamal Omar
Surah Al-Baqaraوَقَٰتِلُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِينَ يُقَٰتِلُونَكُمۡ وَلَا تَعۡتَدُوٓاْۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُعۡتَدِينَ
And fight to kill, in the Cause of Allah, those who fight you to kill and do not transgress the limits (of justice and retribution). Certainly Allah does not like those who cross the limits
