Surah Al-Baqara Verse 222 - English Translation by Mir Anees Original
Surah Al-Baqaraوَيَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلۡمَحِيضِۖ قُلۡ هُوَ أَذٗى فَٱعۡتَزِلُواْ ٱلنِّسَآءَ فِي ٱلۡمَحِيضِ وَلَا تَقۡرَبُوهُنَّ حَتَّىٰ يَطۡهُرۡنَۖ فَإِذَا تَطَهَّرۡنَ فَأۡتُوهُنَّ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ أَمَرَكُمُ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلتَّوَّـٰبِينَ وَيُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُتَطَهِّرِينَ
And they ask you about menstruation, say, "It is harmful, so keep aloof from women (wives) during menstruation and do not go near them till they are clean, then when they are clean go to them from where Allah has ordered you, Allah certainly loves those who turn to Him and He loves those who keep themselves clean
