Surah Al-Baqara Verse 271 - English Translation by Farook Malik
Surah Al-Baqaraإِن تُبۡدُواْ ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ فَنِعِمَّا هِيَۖ وَإِن تُخۡفُوهَا وَتُؤۡتُوهَا ٱلۡفُقَرَآءَ فَهُوَ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡۚ وَيُكَفِّرُ عَنكُم مِّن سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِيرٞ
To give charity in public is good, but to give to the poor in private is better and will remove from you some of your sins. Allah is aware of your actions
