Surah Al-Baqara Verse 31 - English Translation by Dr Kamal Omar
Surah Al-Baqaraوَعَلَّمَ ءَادَمَ ٱلۡأَسۡمَآءَ كُلَّهَا ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمۡ عَلَى ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ فَقَالَ أَنۢبِـُٔونِي بِأَسۡمَآءِ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ
And He taught Adam characteristics of every thing of that (earth) and He brought them in view to the angels and said: “Tell me the characteristics of all this if you are truthful.”
