Surah Al-Baqara Verse 55 - English Translation by Abdul Hye
Surah Al-Baqaraوَإِذۡ قُلۡتُمۡ يَٰمُوسَىٰ لَن نُّؤۡمِنَ لَكَ حَتَّىٰ نَرَى ٱللَّهَ جَهۡرَةٗ فَأَخَذَتۡكُمُ ٱلصَّـٰعِقَةُ وَأَنتُمۡ تَنظُرُونَ
And (remember) when you said: “O Moses! We shall never believe in you till we see Allah plainly (with our own eyes),” you were seized (fell dead) with a thunderbolt (lightening) while you were looking
