Surah Al-Anbiya Verse 90 - English Translation by Mohammad Shafi
Surah Al-Anbiyaفَٱسۡتَجَبۡنَا لَهُۥ وَوَهَبۡنَا لَهُۥ يَحۡيَىٰ وَأَصۡلَحۡنَا لَهُۥ زَوۡجَهُۥٓۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ يُسَٰرِعُونَ فِي ٱلۡخَيۡرَٰتِ وَيَدۡعُونَنَا رَغَبٗا وَرَهَبٗاۖ وَكَانُواْ لَنَا خَٰشِعِينَ
And We responded to him and gave him John (Yahya) and made his wife fit to bear the child. They did indeed try to surpass one another in deeds of goodness and they prayed to Us in hope and fear. And they were humble before Us
