وَلَقَدۡ أَخَذۡنَٰهُم بِٱلۡعَذَابِ فَمَا ٱسۡتَكَانُواْ لِرَبِّهِمۡ وَمَا يَتَضَرَّعُونَ
We have already seized them with punishment, but they did not humble themselves to their Lord, nor did they supplicate in humility
