Surah An-Noor Verse 39 - English Translation by Mir Aneesuddin
Surah An-Noorوَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ أَعۡمَٰلُهُمۡ كَسَرَابِۭ بِقِيعَةٖ يَحۡسَبُهُ ٱلظَّمۡـَٔانُ مَآءً حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءَهُۥ لَمۡ يَجِدۡهُ شَيۡـٔٗا وَوَجَدَ ٱللَّهَ عِندَهُۥ فَوَفَّىٰهُ حِسَابَهُۥۗ وَٱللَّهُ سَرِيعُ ٱلۡحِسَابِ
And (as for) those who do not believe, their deeds will be like a mirage in the desert, which the thirsty person supposes to be water until when he comes to it and finds it to be nothing, and finds God with him (to take his account of deeds), so He pays in full to him that which is due to him and God is Quick in (settling) the account
