Surah Al-Furqan Verse 3 - English Translation by Abdul Hye
Surah Al-Furqanوَٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةٗ لَّا يَخۡلُقُونَ شَيۡـٔٗا وَهُمۡ يُخۡلَقُونَ وَلَا يَمۡلِكُونَ لِأَنفُسِهِمۡ ضَرّٗا وَلَا نَفۡعٗا وَلَا يَمۡلِكُونَ مَوۡتٗا وَلَا حَيَوٰةٗ وَلَا نُشُورٗا
Yet they (disbelievers) have taken besides Him ones worthy of worship, who created nothing but are themselves created, and neither they possess harm nor benefit for themselves, nor they possess power to cause death, nor can give life, nor able to raise the dead to life
