Surah Al-Qasas Verse 79 - English Translation by Mir Aneesuddin
Surah Al-Qasasفَخَرَجَ عَلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦ فِي زِينَتِهِۦۖ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا يَٰلَيۡتَ لَنَا مِثۡلَ مَآ أُوتِيَ قَٰرُونُ إِنَّهُۥ لَذُو حَظٍّ عَظِيمٖ
Then he came out before his people in his pomp. Those who intended (to achieve success only) in the life of this world said, “Ah! would that we had the like of what Korah is given, he is certainly a possessor of great good fortune.”
