Surah Al-Qasas Verse 9 - English Translation by Abdul Hye
Surah Al-Qasasوَقَالَتِ ٱمۡرَأَتُ فِرۡعَوۡنَ قُرَّتُ عَيۡنٖ لِّي وَلَكَۖ لَا تَقۡتُلُوهُ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَنفَعَنَآ أَوۡ نَتَّخِذَهُۥ وَلَدٗا وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ
And the wife of Pharaoh said: “(This is) a comfort of the eye for me and for you. Don’t kill him, perhaps that he may be of benefit to us, or we may adopt him as a son.” They did not perceive (the result of that)
