Surah Aal-e-Imran Verse 165 - English Translation by Abdul Hye
Surah Aal-e-Imranأَوَلَمَّآ أَصَٰبَتۡكُم مُّصِيبَةٞ قَدۡ أَصَبۡتُم مِّثۡلَيۡهَا قُلۡتُمۡ أَنَّىٰ هَٰذَاۖ قُلۡ هُوَ مِنۡ عِندِ أَنفُسِكُمۡۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٞ
When a calamity falls on you, you have already inflicted (enemies at the battle of Badr) twice as great, you say: “From where does this come to us?” Say: “It is from yourselves (for your evil deeds).” Indeed Allah has power over every thing
