Surah Ar-Room Verse 24 - English Translation by Mohammad Shafi
Surah Ar-Roomوَمِنۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ يُرِيكُمُ ٱلۡبَرۡقَ خَوۡفٗا وَطَمَعٗا وَيُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَيُحۡيِۦ بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَآۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَعۡقِلُونَ
And among His Signs is that He shows you the lightning as herald of both fear and hope, sends down water from the sky, and then gives life to the earth after it was dead. In this, indeed, are signs for people who use their intellect
