Surah Al-Ahzab Verse 4 - English Translation by The Study Quran
Surah Al-Ahzabمَّا جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ لِرَجُلٖ مِّن قَلۡبَيۡنِ فِي جَوۡفِهِۦۚ وَمَا جَعَلَ أَزۡوَٰجَكُمُ ٱلَّـٰٓـِٔي تُظَٰهِرُونَ مِنۡهُنَّ أُمَّهَٰتِكُمۡۚ وَمَا جَعَلَ أَدۡعِيَآءَكُمۡ أَبۡنَآءَكُمۡۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ قَوۡلُكُم بِأَفۡوَٰهِكُمۡۖ وَٱللَّهُ يَقُولُ ٱلۡحَقَّ وَهُوَ يَهۡدِي ٱلسَّبِيلَ
God has not placed two hearts in the breast of any man. Nor has He made your wives whom you repudiate with the practice of ?ihar your mothers. Nor has He made those whom you claim [as sons] your sons. Those are mere words from your mouths. But God speaks the Truth and guides upon the way
