Surah Fatir - English Translation by Abdul Hye
ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَاعِلِ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ رُسُلًا أُوْلِيٓ أَجۡنِحَةٖ مَّثۡنَىٰ وَثُلَٰثَ وَرُبَٰعَۚ يَزِيدُ فِي ٱلۡخَلۡقِ مَا يَشَآءُۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٞ
All the praise be to Allah, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, Who has made the angels with 2, 3 or 4 (pairs of) wings as Messengers. He adds to creation as He wills. Surely, Allah has power over every thing
Surah Fatir, Verse 1
مَّا يَفۡتَحِ ٱللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ مِن رَّحۡمَةٖ فَلَا مُمۡسِكَ لَهَاۖ وَمَا يُمۡسِكۡ فَلَا مُرۡسِلَ لَهُۥ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
Whatever Mercy Allah grants to mankind, none can withhold it; and whatever He withholds, none can grant it thereafter. Allah is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise
Surah Fatir, Verse 2
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱذۡكُرُواْ نِعۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡۚ هَلۡ مِنۡ خَٰلِقٍ غَيۡرُ ٱللَّهِ يَرۡزُقُكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤۡفَكُونَ
O mankind! Remember the Grace of Allah upon you! Is there any creator other than Allah who provides for you from the heaven and the earth? There is no one worthy of worship but He. How then are you being deceived
Surah Fatir, Verse 3
وَإِن يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدۡ كُذِّبَتۡ رُسُلٞ مِّن قَبۡلِكَۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرۡجَعُ ٱلۡأُمُورُ
And if they deny you (O Muhammad), so surely Messengers were denied before you. And to Allah all matters return (for decision)
Surah Fatir, Verse 4
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقّٞۖ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُم بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡغَرُورُ
O mankind! Surely, the Promise of Allah is true. So don’t let the worldly life deceive you, and don’t let the chief deceiver (Satan) deceive you about Allah
Surah Fatir, Verse 5
إِنَّ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنَ لَكُمۡ عَدُوّٞ فَٱتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوًّاۚ إِنَّمَا يَدۡعُواْ حِزۡبَهُۥ لِيَكُونُواْ مِنۡ أَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ
Surely, Satan is an enemy to you, so take him as an enemy. He only invites his followers so that they may become the inmates of the blazing fire
Surah Fatir, Verse 6
ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ شَدِيدٞۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُم مَّغۡفِرَةٞ وَأَجۡرٞ كَبِيرٌ
Those who disbelieve, there will be a severe punishment for them; and those who believe and do righteous deeds, there will be forgiveness and a great reward for them
Surah Fatir, Verse 7
أَفَمَن زُيِّنَ لَهُۥ سُوٓءُ عَمَلِهِۦ فَرَءَاهُ حَسَنٗاۖ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهۡدِي مَن يَشَآءُۖ فَلَا تَذۡهَبۡ نَفۡسُكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حَسَرَٰتٍۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمُۢ بِمَا يَصۡنَعُونَ
Can those (be guided), to whom their evil deeds made fair seeming, so that they consider them good? Surely, Allah sends astray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills. So don’t destroy yourself (O Muhammad) for them in sorrow. Truly, Allah is the All-Knower of what they do
Surah Fatir, Verse 8
وَٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَرۡسَلَ ٱلرِّيَٰحَ فَتُثِيرُ سَحَابٗا فَسُقۡنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ بَلَدٖ مَّيِّتٖ فَأَحۡيَيۡنَا بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَاۚ كَذَٰلِكَ ٱلنُّشُورُ
And it is Allah Who sends the winds to rise up the clouds, then We drive them to a dead land, and therewith revives the earth after its death. Such will be the Resurrection (of the dead)
Surah Fatir, Verse 9
مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ ٱلۡعِزَّةَ فَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡعِزَّةُ جَمِيعًاۚ إِلَيۡهِ يَصۡعَدُ ٱلۡكَلِمُ ٱلطَّيِّبُ وَٱلۡعَمَلُ ٱلصَّـٰلِحُ يَرۡفَعُهُۥۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ يَمۡكُرُونَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ شَدِيدٞۖ وَمَكۡرُ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُوَ يَبُورُ
Whoever desires the honor, (should know that) all honor belongs to Allah alone. Good Words ascend to Allah and the righteous deeds are exalted by Allah. But those who plot evils, they will have severe punishment and their plots will perish
Surah Fatir, Verse 10
وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَكُم مِّن تُرَابٖ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطۡفَةٖ ثُمَّ جَعَلَكُمۡ أَزۡوَٰجٗاۚ وَمَا تَحۡمِلُ مِنۡ أُنثَىٰ وَلَا تَضَعُ إِلَّا بِعِلۡمِهِۦۚ وَمَا يُعَمَّرُ مِن مُّعَمَّرٖ وَلَا يُنقَصُ مِنۡ عُمُرِهِۦٓ إِلَّا فِي كِتَٰبٍۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرٞ
And Allah has created you from dust, then from a drop of semen, and then He made you pairs. No female conceives or gives birth without His Knowledge. No aged human is granted a long life or the life is cut short but is written in a book. Surely, that is easy for Allah
Surah Fatir, Verse 11
وَمَا يَسۡتَوِي ٱلۡبَحۡرَانِ هَٰذَا عَذۡبٞ فُرَاتٞ سَآئِغٞ شَرَابُهُۥ وَهَٰذَا مِلۡحٌ أُجَاجٞۖ وَمِن كُلّٖ تَأۡكُلُونَ لَحۡمٗا طَرِيّٗا وَتَسۡتَخۡرِجُونَ حِلۡيَةٗ تَلۡبَسُونَهَاۖ وَتَرَى ٱلۡفُلۡكَ فِيهِ مَوَاخِرَ لِتَبۡتَغُواْ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ
And the 2 seas are not alike - one is fresh sweet and pleasant to drink; and the other is salty and bitter. Yet, from each of them you eat fresh meat (fish) and get ornaments to wear. You see the ships sailing through them, that you may seek His Bounty, and that you may give thanks
Surah Fatir, Verse 12
يُولِجُ ٱلَّيۡلَ فِي ٱلنَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِي ٱلَّيۡلِ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَۖ كُلّٞ يَجۡرِي لِأَجَلٖ مُّسَمّٗىۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمۡ لَهُ ٱلۡمُلۡكُۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ تَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ مَا يَمۡلِكُونَ مِن قِطۡمِيرٍ
He merges the night into the day and the day into the night. And He has subjected the sun and the moon (to serve you), each runs (its course) for an appointed term. Such is Allah, your Lord; His is the kingdom. Those to whom you pray instead of Him, don’t even own a thin membrane of a date-stone
Surah Fatir, Verse 13
إِن تَدۡعُوهُمۡ لَا يَسۡمَعُواْ دُعَآءَكُمۡ وَلَوۡ سَمِعُواْ مَا ٱسۡتَجَابُواْ لَكُمۡۖ وَيَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ يَكۡفُرُونَ بِشِرۡكِكُمۡۚ وَلَا يُنَبِّئُكَ مِثۡلُ خَبِيرٖ
If you pray to them, they don’t hear your call, and even if they hear you, they can not answer you. On the Day of Resurrection, they will disown your worshipping them. None can inform you (O mankind) like the One Who is the All-Knower
Surah Fatir, Verse 14
۞يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ أَنتُمُ ٱلۡفُقَرَآءُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ وَٱللَّهُ هُوَ ٱلۡغَنِيُّ ٱلۡحَمِيدُ
O mankind! It is you who stands in need of Allah, but Allah is Rich, Praise-Worthy
Surah Fatir, Verse 15
إِن يَشَأۡ يُذۡهِبۡكُمۡ وَيَأۡتِ بِخَلۡقٖ جَدِيدٖ
If He wills, He can destroy you and replace with a new creation
Surah Fatir, Verse 16
وَمَا ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ بِعَزِيزٖ
and that is not difficult for Allah
Surah Fatir, Verse 17
وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٞ وِزۡرَ أُخۡرَىٰۚ وَإِن تَدۡعُ مُثۡقَلَةٌ إِلَىٰ حِمۡلِهَا لَا يُحۡمَلۡ مِنۡهُ شَيۡءٞ وَلَوۡ كَانَ ذَا قُرۡبَىٰٓۗ إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخۡشَوۡنَ رَبَّهُم بِٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَأَقَامُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَۚ وَمَن تَزَكَّىٰ فَإِنَّمَا يَتَزَكَّىٰ لِنَفۡسِهِۦۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ
And no bearer of burdens shall bear another’s burden, and if one heavily laden calls another to carry it (load), nothing will be lifted from it even though he is a close relative. You (O Muhammad) can only warn those who fear their unseen Lord, and establish prayers. Those who purify themselves, and then they purify only for their own selves. To Allah is the final return
Surah Fatir, Verse 18
وَمَا يَسۡتَوِي ٱلۡأَعۡمَىٰ وَٱلۡبَصِيرُ
The blind (disbelievers) and the seeing (believers) are not alike
Surah Fatir, Verse 19
وَلَا ٱلظُّلُمَٰتُ وَلَا ٱلنُّورُ
nor the darkness (disbelief) and the light (belief)
Surah Fatir, Verse 20
وَلَا ٱلظِّلُّ وَلَا ٱلۡحَرُورُ
nor the shade and the sun’s heat
Surah Fatir, Verse 21
وَمَا يَسۡتَوِي ٱلۡأَحۡيَآءُ وَلَا ٱلۡأَمۡوَٰتُۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُسۡمِعُ مَن يَشَآءُۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ بِمُسۡمِعٖ مَّن فِي ٱلۡقُبُورِ
nor the living and the dead. Surely, Allah can make hear whom He wills, but you (O Muhammad) cannot make those hear who are in graves
Surah Fatir, Verse 22
إِنۡ أَنتَ إِلَّا نَذِيرٌ
You (O Muhammad) are not but a Warner
Surah Fatir, Verse 23
إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ بَشِيرٗا وَنَذِيرٗاۚ وَإِن مِّنۡ أُمَّةٍ إِلَّا خَلَا فِيهَا نَذِيرٞ
Surely! We have sent you (O Muhammad) with the truth as a bearer of good news, and as a Warner. And there was not a nation which did not have a Warner
Surah Fatir, Verse 24
وَإِن يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدۡ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ جَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ وَبِٱلزُّبُرِ وَبِٱلۡكِتَٰبِ ٱلۡمُنِيرِ
And if they deny you, so surely were those who came before. Their Messengers came to them with clear signs, with the Scriptures, and the light-giving book
Surah Fatir, Verse 25
ثُمَّ أَخَذۡتُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْۖ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ
Then I seized those who disbelieved, and how terrible was My denial (punishment)
Surah Fatir, Verse 26
أَلَمۡ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَأَخۡرَجۡنَا بِهِۦ ثَمَرَٰتٖ مُّخۡتَلِفًا أَلۡوَٰنُهَاۚ وَمِنَ ٱلۡجِبَالِ جُدَدُۢ بِيضٞ وَحُمۡرٞ مُّخۡتَلِفٌ أَلۡوَٰنُهَا وَغَرَابِيبُ سُودٞ
Don’t you see that Allah sends down rain from the sky and We produce therewith fruits of varying colors? Among the mountains there are streaks (paths) white and red of varying colors and very black
Surah Fatir, Verse 27
وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَٱلدَّوَآبِّ وَٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ مُخۡتَلِفٌ أَلۡوَٰنُهُۥ كَذَٰلِكَۗ إِنَّمَا يَخۡشَى ٱللَّهَ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِ ٱلۡعُلَمَـٰٓؤُاْۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ غَفُورٌ
And likewise, men, beasts, and cattle have various colors. It is only those among His servants who have knowledge that fear Allah. Surely, Allah is All-Mighty, Forgiving
Surah Fatir, Verse 28
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَتۡلُونَ كِتَٰبَ ٱللَّهِ وَأَقَامُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَأَنفَقُواْ مِمَّا رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ سِرّٗا وَعَلَانِيَةٗ يَرۡجُونَ تِجَٰرَةٗ لَّن تَبُورَ
Surely, those who recite the book of Allah (this Qur’an), establish prayer, and spend (in charity) out of what We have provided for them, secretly and openly, may hope for business (gain) that will never perish
Surah Fatir, Verse 29
لِيُوَفِّيَهُمۡ أُجُورَهُمۡ وَيَزِيدَهُم مِّن فَضۡلِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّهُۥ غَفُورٞ شَكُورٞ
That He may pay them their rewards in full and give them more out of His Grace. Surely! He is forgiving, ready to appreciate (good deeds)
Surah Fatir, Verse 30
وَٱلَّذِيٓ أَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَيۡكَ مِنَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ هُوَ ٱلۡحَقُّ مُصَدِّقٗا لِّمَا بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ لَخَبِيرُۢ بَصِيرٞ
And that which We have revealed in you (O Muhammad) of the book (the Qur’an), it is the truth which confirms what was revealed before. Surely! Allah is indeed All-Aware, and All-Seer of His servants
Surah Fatir, Verse 31
ثُمَّ أَوۡرَثۡنَا ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱصۡطَفَيۡنَا مِنۡ عِبَادِنَاۖ فَمِنۡهُمۡ ظَالِمٞ لِّنَفۡسِهِۦ وَمِنۡهُم مُّقۡتَصِدٞ وَمِنۡهُمۡ سَابِقُۢ بِٱلۡخَيۡرَٰتِ بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡفَضۡلُ ٱلۡكَبِيرُ
Then We gave the book (the Qur’an) as an inheritance to those of Our servants (Muslims) whom We have chosen. Among them there are some who wrong their own selves, some of them follow a middle course, and some of them are foremost in good deeds by the permission of Allah. That is the great grace
Surah Fatir, Verse 32
جَنَّـٰتُ عَدۡنٖ يَدۡخُلُونَهَا يُحَلَّوۡنَ فِيهَا مِنۡ أَسَاوِرَ مِن ذَهَبٖ وَلُؤۡلُؤٗاۖ وَلِبَاسُهُمۡ فِيهَا حَرِيرٞ
They will enter the gardens of Eden where they will be adorned with bracelets of gold and pearls and their garments will be silk therein
Surah Fatir, Verse 33
وَقَالُواْ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَذۡهَبَ عَنَّا ٱلۡحَزَنَۖ إِنَّ رَبَّنَا لَغَفُورٞ شَكُورٌ
They will say: “All the praise be to Allah Who has removed all grief from us. Surely, our Lord is indeed Forgiving, Ready to appreciate (good deeds)
Surah Fatir, Verse 34
ٱلَّذِيٓ أَحَلَّنَا دَارَ ٱلۡمُقَامَةِ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ لَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا نَصَبٞ وَلَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا لُغُوبٞ
Who has admitted us in a home (in Paradise) that will last forever out of His Grace; where no toil will touch us nor any weariness.”
Surah Fatir, Verse 35
وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَهُمۡ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ لَا يُقۡضَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ فَيَمُوتُواْ وَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنۡهُم مِّنۡ عَذَابِهَاۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي كُلَّ كَفُورٖ
But those who disbelieve, there will be fire of hell for them. Neither it (fire) will be completed on them so that they die, nor shall its punishment be lightened for them. Thus We do pay back every disbeliever
Surah Fatir, Verse 36
وَهُمۡ يَصۡطَرِخُونَ فِيهَا رَبَّنَآ أَخۡرِجۡنَا نَعۡمَلۡ صَٰلِحًا غَيۡرَ ٱلَّذِي كُنَّا نَعۡمَلُۚ أَوَلَمۡ نُعَمِّرۡكُم مَّا يَتَذَكَّرُ فِيهِ مَن تَذَكَّرَ وَجَآءَكُمُ ٱلنَّذِيرُۖ فَذُوقُواْ فَمَا لِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ مِن نَّصِيرٍ
They will cry therein: “Our Lord! Get us out, (from now) we shall do righteous deeds and shall not repeat that (evil deeds) which we used to do.” (Allah will reply): “Did We not give you lives long enough so that whoever would, could receive warning therein? And the Warner came to you. So taste (the evil of your deeds), there is no helper for the wrongdoers.”
Surah Fatir, Verse 37
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَٰلِمُ غَيۡبِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ
Surely, Allah is the All-Knower of the unseen of the heavens and the earth. Surely! He is the All-Knower of what is in the hearts
Surah Fatir, Verse 38
هُوَ ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَكُمۡ خَلَـٰٓئِفَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ فَمَن كَفَرَ فَعَلَيۡهِ كُفۡرُهُۥۖ وَلَا يَزِيدُ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ كُفۡرُهُمۡ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡ إِلَّا مَقۡتٗاۖ وَلَا يَزِيدُ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ كُفۡرُهُمۡ إِلَّا خَسَارٗا
It is He Who has made you vicegerent in the earth. Whoever disbelieves, bears the burden of disbelief. And their disbelief of the disbelievers does not add anything except the Wrath of their Lord. And the disbelief of the disbelievers adds nothing but loss
Surah Fatir, Verse 39
قُلۡ أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ شُرَكَآءَكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ تَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَرُونِي مَاذَا خَلَقُواْ مِنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَمۡ لَهُمۡ شِرۡكٞ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ أَمۡ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمۡ كِتَٰبٗا فَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَتٖ مِّنۡهُۚ بَلۡ إِن يَعِدُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ بَعۡضُهُم بَعۡضًا إِلَّا غُرُورًا
Say (O Muhammad): “What do you think about your partner to whom you call upon besides Allah? Show me, what they have created in the earth? Or do they have any share in the heavens? Or have We given them a book so that they act on clear proof from there? Nay, the wrongdoers promise one another nothing but delusions.”
Surah Fatir, Verse 40
۞إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُمۡسِكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ أَن تَزُولَاۚ وَلَئِن زَالَتَآ إِنۡ أَمۡسَكَهُمَا مِنۡ أَحَدٖ مِّنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ حَلِيمًا غَفُورٗا
Surely! Allah grasps the heavens and the earth lest they move away (from their places). Even if they were to move away (from their places), there is none who could grasp them besides Him. Truly, He is ever Forbearing, Forgiving
Surah Fatir, Verse 41
وَأَقۡسَمُواْ بِٱللَّهِ جَهۡدَ أَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ لَئِن جَآءَهُمۡ نَذِيرٞ لَّيَكُونُنَّ أَهۡدَىٰ مِنۡ إِحۡدَى ٱلۡأُمَمِۖ فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمۡ نَذِيرٞ مَّا زَادَهُمۡ إِلَّا نُفُورًا
And they swore by Allah their most binding oath that if a Warner ever come to them, they would be more guided than any of the nations (before them). Yet, when a Warner (Muhammad) has come to them, it increased nothing in them but flight (from the truth)
Surah Fatir, Verse 42
ٱسۡتِكۡبَارٗا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَكۡرَ ٱلسَّيِّيِٕۚ وَلَا يَحِيقُ ٱلۡمَكۡرُ ٱلسَّيِّئُ إِلَّا بِأَهۡلِهِۦۚ فَهَلۡ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا سُنَّتَ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَۚ فَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ ٱللَّهِ تَبۡدِيلٗاۖ وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ ٱللَّهِ تَحۡوِيلًا
(because of their) arrogance in the land and their plotting of evil. The evil plotting encompasses only those who make it. Can they expect anything but the way of former peoples? So you will not find any change in the Way of Allah and will not find any alternation in the Way of Allah
Surah Fatir, Verse 43
أَوَلَمۡ يَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ وَكَانُوٓاْ أَشَدَّ مِنۡهُمۡ قُوَّةٗۚ وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيُعۡجِزَهُۥ مِن شَيۡءٖ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَلَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَلِيمٗا قَدِيرٗا
Have they not traveled in the land and seen how terrible was the end of those who were before them, who were greater in power than them? There is nothing in the heavens or in the earth which can escape Him. Surely, Allah is the All-Knower, All-Powerful
Surah Fatir, Verse 44
وَلَوۡ يُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُواْ مَا تَرَكَ عَلَىٰ ظَهۡرِهَا مِن دَآبَّةٖ وَلَٰكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمۡ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ مُّسَمّٗىۖ فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمۡ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ بَصِيرَۢا
And if Allah were to punish people for their evil deeds, He would not leave any creature on the surface (of the earth), but He is giving them respite for an appointed term, and when their term will come, they surely will realize that Allah is All-Seer of His servants
Surah Fatir, Verse 45
