Surah Ghafir Verse 22 - English Translation by Mir Anees Original
Surah Ghafirذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ كَانَت تَّأۡتِيهِمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ فَكَفَرُواْ فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّهُۥ قَوِيّٞ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ
That was because, their messengers had come to them with clear proofs but they rejected ( them) so Allah caught them, He is certainly Strong, Severe in requital
