Surah Fussilat Verse 39 - English Translation by Dr Kamal Omar
Surah Fussilatوَمِنۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ أَنَّكَ تَرَى ٱلۡأَرۡضَ خَٰشِعَةٗ فَإِذَآ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهَا ٱلۡمَآءَ ٱهۡتَزَّتۡ وَرَبَتۡۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَحۡيَاهَا لَمُحۡيِ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰٓۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٌ
And among His Signs (is this), that you see the earth barren, but when We sent down over it (rain-) water, it stirred up to life and flourished. Surely, That Who revived it (becomes) a Sure Life-Giver for those who have died! Indeed, He is All-Capable over every thing
