Surah Fussilat Verse 5 - English Translation by Dr Kamal Omar
Surah Fussilatوَقَالُواْ قُلُوبُنَا فِيٓ أَكِنَّةٖ مِّمَّا تَدۡعُونَآ إِلَيۡهِ وَفِيٓ ءَاذَانِنَا وَقۡرٞ وَمِنۢ بَيۡنِنَا وَبَيۡنِكَ حِجَابٞ فَٱعۡمَلۡ إِنَّنَا عَٰمِلُونَ
And they said: “Our hearts are under coverings against that to which you invite us; and in our ears is a blockage; and between us and between you is a barrier. So carry on your deeds, surely we are those who act (according to our inclinations and knowledge).”
