Surah Al-Ahqaf Verse 8 - English Translation by Abdul Hye
Surah Al-Ahqafأَمۡ يَقُولُونَ ٱفۡتَرَىٰهُۖ قُلۡ إِنِ ٱفۡتَرَيۡتُهُۥ فَلَا تَمۡلِكُونَ لِي مِنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيۡـًٔاۖ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا تُفِيضُونَ فِيهِۚ كَفَىٰ بِهِۦ شَهِيدَۢا بَيۡنِي وَبَيۡنَكُمۡۖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
Or they say: “He (Muhammad) has fabricated it.” Say: “If I have fabricated it, then you have no power to support me in anything against (the Wrath of) Allah. He knows better of what you say among yourselves concerning it (this Qur’an)! He is sufficient as a witness between me and between you! And He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.”
