Surah Al-Maeda Verse 38 - English Translation by Dr Kamal Omar
Surah Al-Maedaوَٱلسَّارِقُ وَٱلسَّارِقَةُ فَٱقۡطَعُوٓاْ أَيۡدِيَهُمَا جَزَآءَۢ بِمَا كَسَبَا نَكَٰلٗا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٞ
And the male thief and the female thief — then you cut off the hands of both of them — as a recompense for what (these) two earned — an exemplary punishment from Allah. And Allah is All-Powerful, All-Wise
