Surah Al-Maeda Verse 40 - English Translation by Mir Aneesuddin
Surah Al-Maedaأَلَمۡ تَعۡلَمۡ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ يُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَغۡفِرُ لِمَن يَشَآءُۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٞ
Do you not know that God's is the kingdom of the skies and the earth, He punishes whom He wills and He protectively forgives whom He wills, and God has power over everything
