Surah Al-Anaam Verse 140 - English Translation by Almuntakhab Fi Tafsir Alquran Alkarim
Surah Al-Anaamقَدۡ خَسِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَتَلُوٓاْ أَوۡلَٰدَهُمۡ سَفَهَۢا بِغَيۡرِ عِلۡمٖ وَحَرَّمُواْ مَا رَزَقَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱفۡتِرَآءً عَلَى ٱللَّهِۚ قَدۡ ضَلُّواْ وَمَا كَانُواْ مُهۡتَدِينَ
Losers indeed are those who foolishly and irreligiously committed the crime of infanticide, an evil wrought by want of thought. Who forbade the victuals provisioned for them; forging lies against Allah and criminally relating to Him falsehood. They have indeed erred and strayed and they missed the path of righteousness
