Surah At-Tahrim Verse 10 - English Translation by N J Dawood
Surah At-Tahrimضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلٗا لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ ٱمۡرَأَتَ نُوحٖ وَٱمۡرَأَتَ لُوطٖۖ كَانَتَا تَحۡتَ عَبۡدَيۡنِ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا صَٰلِحَيۡنِ فَخَانَتَاهُمَا فَلَمۡ يُغۡنِيَا عَنۡهُمَا مِنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيۡـٔٗا وَقِيلَ ٱدۡخُلَا ٱلنَّارَ مَعَ ٱلدَّـٰخِلِينَ
God gave an example to the unbelievers in the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot. They were married to two of Our righteous servants and betrayed them. Their husbands could in no way protect them from God; they were told: ‘Enter the Fire with those that shall enter it.‘
