Surah Al-Araf Verse 71 - English Translation by Dr Kamal Omar
Surah Al-Arafقَالَ قَدۡ وَقَعَ عَلَيۡكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ رِجۡسٞ وَغَضَبٌۖ أَتُجَٰدِلُونَنِي فِيٓ أَسۡمَآءٖ سَمَّيۡتُمُوهَآ أَنتُمۡ وَءَابَآؤُكُم مَّا نَزَّلَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلۡطَٰنٖۚ فَٱنتَظِرُوٓاْ إِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡمُنتَظِرِينَ
(Hud) said: “Surely, has descended over you from your Nourisher-Sustainer Rijs and Ghazab. Do you make arguments with me in favour of (imaginary) titles, that which you (yourselves) have named — you and your fathers? Allah did not send with such (personalities) any of the authority. Then wait, surely I am along with you, out of those, who are waiting
