Surah Al-Araf Verse 94 - English Translation by Dr Kamal Omar
Surah Al-Arafوَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا فِي قَرۡيَةٖ مِّن نَّبِيٍّ إِلَّآ أَخَذۡنَآ أَهۡلَهَا بِٱلۡبَأۡسَآءِ وَٱلضَّرَّآءِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَضَّرَّعُونَ
And We sent not unto any town from (the category of) a Prophet — except (when) We had involved its people in sufferings and calamities (due to their open indifference to the teachings in Al-Kitab) — so that they may show humility (to the Divine Message)
