Surah Al-Anfal Verse 1 - English Translation by Mir Aneesuddin
Surah Al-Anfalيَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلۡأَنفَالِۖ قُلِ ٱلۡأَنفَالُ لِلَّهِ وَٱلرَّسُولِۖ فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَصۡلِحُواْ ذَاتَ بَيۡنِكُمۡۖ وَأَطِيعُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ
They ask you about the spoils of war, say, "The spoils of war are for God and the messenger." So fear God and set right matters between yourselves and obey God and His messenger if you are believers
