Surah Al-Anfal Verse 17 - English Translation by Mir Aneesuddin
Surah Al-Anfalفَلَمۡ تَقۡتُلُوهُمۡ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَتَلَهُمۡۚ وَمَا رَمَيۡتَ إِذۡ رَمَيۡتَ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ رَمَىٰ وَلِيُبۡلِيَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ مِنۡهُ بَلَآءً حَسَنًاۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٞ
So you did not kill them but God killed them, and you did not throw when you threw but God threw, so that He might test the believers with a good test from Him, God is certainly Hearing, Knowing
