Surah Al-Anfal Verse 54 - English Translation by Abdul Hye
Surah Al-Anfalكَدَأۡبِ ءَالِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ فَأَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ وَأَغۡرَقۡنَآ ءَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنَۚ وَكُلّٞ كَانُواْ ظَٰلِمِينَ
Their behavior is similar (to that) of the people of Pharaoh, and those before them. They denied the Verses of their Lord, so We destroyed them for their sins, and We drowned the people of Pharaoh, and they all were wrongdoers
