Surah At-Takathur - English Translation by Muhammad Taqi Ud Din Al Hilali And Muhammad Muhsin Khan
أَلۡهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ
The mutual rivalry for piling up of worldly things diverts you
Surah At-Takathur, Verse 1
حَتَّىٰ زُرۡتُمُ ٱلۡمَقَابِرَ
Until you visit the graves (i.e. till you die)
Surah At-Takathur, Verse 2
كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ
Nay! You shall come to know
Surah At-Takathur, Verse 3
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ
Again, Nay! You shall come to know
Surah At-Takathur, Verse 4
كَلَّا لَوۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ عِلۡمَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ
Nay! If you knew with a sure knowledge (the end result of piling up, you would not have occupied yourselves in worldly things)
Surah At-Takathur, Verse 5
لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ
Verily, You shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)
Surah At-Takathur, Verse 6
ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيۡنَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ
And again, you shall see it with certainty of sight
Surah At-Takathur, Verse 7
ثُمَّ لَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ يَوۡمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
Then, on that Day, you shall be asked about the delight (you indulged in, in this world)
