الٓمٓ
Alif-Lam-Meem
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 1
تَنزِيلُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لَا رَيۡبَ فِيهِ مِن رَّبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
The book (the Qur’an) in which there is no doubt, is revealed from the Lord of the worlds
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 2
أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ ٱفۡتَرَىٰهُۚ بَلۡ هُوَ ٱلۡحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ لِتُنذِرَ قَوۡمٗا مَّآ أَتَىٰهُم مِّن نَّذِيرٖ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَهۡتَدُونَ
Or do they say: “He (Muhammad) has fabricated it?” Nay, it is the truth from your Lord so that you (O Muhammad) may warn people to whom no Warner has come before you, in order that they may be guided
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 3
ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٖ ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلۡعَرۡشِۖ مَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ مِن وَلِيّٖ وَلَا شَفِيعٍۚ أَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ
It is Allah Who has created the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them in 6 days. Then He rose over the Throne (to suit Majesty). You (people) have no protector or intercessor besides Him. Will you not then remember
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 4
يُدَبِّرُ ٱلۡأَمۡرَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ إِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ثُمَّ يَعۡرُجُ إِلَيۡهِ فِي يَوۡمٖ كَانَ مِقۡدَارُهُۥٓ أَلۡفَ سَنَةٖ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّونَ
He manages every affair from the heavens to the earth; then each affair goes up to Him in one day, the period of which is 1,000 years of what you count (as worldly time)
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 5
ذَٰلِكَ عَٰلِمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
That is He, the All-Knower of all the unseen and the seen, the All-Mighty, the Merciful
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 6
ٱلَّذِيٓ أَحۡسَنَ كُلَّ شَيۡءٍ خَلَقَهُۥۖ وَبَدَأَ خَلۡقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنِ مِن طِينٖ
It is He Who has made everything good that He has created. He began the creation of human from clay
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 7
ثُمَّ جَعَلَ نَسۡلَهُۥ مِن سُلَٰلَةٖ مِّن مَّآءٖ مَّهِينٖ
then He made human’s offspring from semen of worthless water
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 8
ثُمَّ سَوَّىٰهُ وَنَفَخَ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِهِۦۖ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرَ وَٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةَۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تَشۡكُرُونَ
then He fashioned human in due proportion, and breathed into human the soul (created by Allah). He gave you hearing (ears), sight (eyes) and hearts. Little is what thanks you give
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 9
وَقَالُوٓاْ أَءِذَا ضَلَلۡنَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَءِنَّا لَفِي خَلۡقٖ جَدِيدِۭۚ بَلۡ هُم بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّهِمۡ كَٰفِرُونَ
And they say: “When we are (dead and become) lost in the earth, shall we be created new?” Nay, but they deny the Meeting with their Lord
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 10
۞قُلۡ يَتَوَفَّىٰكُم مَّلَكُ ٱلۡمَوۡتِ ٱلَّذِي وُكِّلَ بِكُمۡ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمۡ تُرۡجَعُونَ
Say: “The angel of death (Izra’il) who is set over you, will take your souls and then you will be returned to your Lord.”
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 11
وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰٓ إِذِ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ نَاكِسُواْ رُءُوسِهِمۡ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡ رَبَّنَآ أَبۡصَرۡنَا وَسَمِعۡنَا فَٱرۡجِعۡنَا نَعۡمَلۡ صَٰلِحًا إِنَّا مُوقِنُونَ
And if only you could see when the criminals will hang their heads before their Lord (saying): “Our Lord! We have now seen and heard, so send us back (to the world) and we will do righteous deeds. Surely! We now believe with certainty.”
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 12
وَلَوۡ شِئۡنَا لَأٓتَيۡنَا كُلَّ نَفۡسٍ هُدَىٰهَا وَلَٰكِنۡ حَقَّ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ مِنِّي لَأَمۡلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ أَجۡمَعِينَ
And it will be said: “If We had willed, surely! We could have given every one its guidance. But the Word from Me took effect (about evil-doers) that I will fill hell with jinn and mankind together
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 13
فَذُوقُواْ بِمَا نَسِيتُمۡ لِقَآءَ يَوۡمِكُمۡ هَٰذَآ إِنَّا نَسِينَٰكُمۡۖ وَذُوقُواْ عَذَابَ ٱلۡخُلۡدِ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ
Now you taste (the punishment of the fire) because of your forgetting the meeting of this Day, surely! We too have forgotten you; you taste the continuous punishment for what you did.”
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 14
إِنَّمَا يُؤۡمِنُ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُواْ بِهَا خَرُّواْۤ سُجَّدٗاۤ وَسَبَّحُواْ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّهِمۡ وَهُمۡ لَا يَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ۩
Only those who believe in Our Signs, when they are reminded of them, fall down prostrate, glorify the praises of their Lord, and are not proud
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 15
تَتَجَافَىٰ جُنُوبُهُمۡ عَنِ ٱلۡمَضَاجِعِ يَدۡعُونَ رَبَّهُمۡ خَوۡفٗا وَطَمَعٗا وَمِمَّا رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ يُنفِقُونَ
Their sides forsake their beds, they invoke their Lord in fear and hope, and they spend (in Our Cause) out of what We have bestowed on them
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 16
فَلَا تَعۡلَمُ نَفۡسٞ مَّآ أُخۡفِيَ لَهُم مِّن قُرَّةِ أَعۡيُنٖ جَزَآءَۢ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ
No one knows what is kept hidden for them of the joy of their eyes as a reward for what (good) they did
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 17
أَفَمَن كَانَ مُؤۡمِنٗا كَمَن كَانَ فَاسِقٗاۚ لَّا يَسۡتَوُۥنَ
Can the one who is a believer be like the one who is a sinner? They are not equal
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 18
أَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ فَلَهُمۡ جَنَّـٰتُ ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰ نُزُلَۢا بِمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ
As for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for them are gardens (Paradise) as shelter to reside for what they did
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 19
وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ فَسَقُواْ فَمَأۡوَىٰهُمُ ٱلنَّارُۖ كُلَّمَآ أَرَادُوٓاْ أَن يَخۡرُجُواْ مِنۡهَآ أُعِيدُواْ فِيهَا وَقِيلَ لَهُمۡ ذُوقُواْ عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ
But those who have sinned, their abode will be the fire. Every time they wish to get away from it, they will be put back in it, and it will be said to them: “You taste the punishment of the fire which you used to deny.”
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 20
وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡأَدۡنَىٰ دُونَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡأَكۡبَرِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡجِعُونَ
And surely, We will make them taste the lighter punishment (in this life) before the greater punishment (in the Hereafter), so that they may return (to the Right Way)
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 21
وَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّن ذُكِّرَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِۦ ثُمَّ أَعۡرَضَ عَنۡهَآۚ إِنَّا مِنَ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ مُنتَقِمُونَ
And who does more wrong than the one who is reminded of the Verses of his Lord and then he turns aside from them? Surely, We shall take retribution from the criminals
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 22
وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ فَلَا تَكُن فِي مِرۡيَةٖ مِّن لِّقَآئِهِۦۖ وَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ هُدٗى لِّبَنِيٓ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ
And indeed, We gave Moses the Scripture (the Torah). So don’t be in doubt of his receiving it. And We made it (the Torah) a guide for the children of Israel
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 23
وَجَعَلۡنَا مِنۡهُمۡ أَئِمَّةٗ يَهۡدُونَ بِأَمۡرِنَا لَمَّا صَبَرُواْۖ وَكَانُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يُوقِنُونَ
And We made leaders from among them (children of Israel) giving guidance under Our Command as long as they were patient and used to believe with certainty in Our Verses
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 24
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَفۡصِلُ بَيۡنَهُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ فِيمَا كَانُواْ فِيهِ يَخۡتَلِفُونَ
Surely, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning what they differed
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 25
أَوَلَمۡ يَهۡدِ لَهُمۡ كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّنَ ٱلۡقُرُونِ يَمۡشُونَ فِي مَسَٰكِنِهِمۡۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٍۚ أَفَلَا يَسۡمَعُونَ
Is it not guidance for them of how many previous generations We have destroyed before them in whose residences they walk about? Surely, there are signs. Would they not listen
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 26
أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ أَنَّا نَسُوقُ ٱلۡمَآءَ إِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ٱلۡجُرُزِ فَنُخۡرِجُ بِهِۦ زَرۡعٗا تَأۡكُلُ مِنۡهُ أَنۡعَٰمُهُمۡ وَأَنفُسُهُمۡۚ أَفَلَا يُبۡصِرُونَ
Don’t they see how We drive water (rain) to the dry land without any vegetation and bring forth crops with it which they and their cattle eat? Will they not then see
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 27
وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلۡفَتۡحُ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ
They say: “When will this decision (Judgment) happen if you are telling the truth?”
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 28
قُلۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَتۡحِ لَا يَنفَعُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ إِيمَٰنُهُمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يُنظَرُونَ
Say (O Muhammad): “On the Day of decision, no benefit will be to the disbelievers, nor they will be granted respite.”
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 29
فَأَعۡرِضۡ عَنۡهُمۡ وَٱنتَظِرۡ إِنَّهُم مُّنتَظِرُونَ
So turn aside from them (O Muhammad) and await, surely they are waiting
Surah As-Sajda, Verse 30
