Surah As-Saaffat - English Translation by Literal

وَٱلصَّـٰٓفَّـٰتِ صَفّٗا

And the expanded and motionless wings in a row, arranged
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 1

فَٱلزَّـٰجِرَٰتِ زَجۡرٗا

So the preventing/deterring , preventing/deterring/ousting
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 2

فَٱلتَّـٰلِيَٰتِ ذِكۡرًا

So the reading/reciting/following, mentioning/remembering
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 3

إِنَّ إِلَٰهَكُمۡ لَوَٰحِدٞ

That truly your Lord (is) one (E)
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 4

رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ ٱلۡمَشَٰرِقِ

Lord (of) the skies/space and the earth/Planet Earth and what (is) between them (B), and Lord (of) the sun rises/easts
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 5

إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا بِزِينَةٍ ٱلۡكَوَاكِبِ

That We decorated/beautified the sky/space (of) the present world with the stars`/planets` decoration/beauty
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 6

وَحِفۡظٗا مِّن كُلِّ شَيۡطَٰنٖ مَّارِدٖ

And a protection/guarding from every/each rebellious/mutinous devil
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 7

لَّا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى ٱلۡمَلَإِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ وَيُقۡذَفُونَ مِن كُلِّ جَانِبٖ

They do not hear/listen (E) to the nobles/assembly the highest/mightiest/most dignified, and they be thrown/hurled from every/each side/direction
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 8

دُحُورٗاۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ وَاصِبٌ

Expelled/driven away , and for them (is) a permanent/continuous/lasting torture
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 9

إِلَّا مَنۡ خَطِفَ ٱلۡخَطۡفَةَ فَأَتۡبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٞ ثَاقِبٞ

Except who snatched the one snatch, so a light from a fire source/a star lit/ignited/penetrating followed him
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 10

فَٱسۡتَفۡتِهِمۡ أَهُمۡ أَشَدُّ خَلۡقًا أَم مَّنۡ خَلَقۡنَآۚ إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰهُم مِّن طِينٖ لَّازِبِۭ

So ask/take their opinion , are they a stronger creation, or who We created? That We created them from very sticky mud/clay
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 11

بَلۡ عَجِبۡتَ وَيَسۡخَرُونَ

But you wondered/were astonished/were surprised, and they humiliate/mock/undermine/ridicule
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 12

وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُواْ لَا يَذۡكُرُونَ

And if they were reminded, they do not mention/remember
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 13

وَإِذَا رَأَوۡاْ ءَايَةٗ يَسۡتَسۡخِرُونَ

And if they saw/understood an evidence/sign/verse, they humiliate/mock/ridicule/undermine
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 14

وَقَالُوٓاْ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرٞ مُّبِينٌ

And they said: "That truly this (is) except clear/evident magic/sorcery
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 15

أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابٗا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ

Is (it that) if we died and we were dust and bones, are we being resurrected/revived (E)
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 16

أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ

Or our fathers the first/beginners
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 17

قُلۡ نَعَمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ دَٰخِرُونَ

Say: "Yes, and you are degraded/lowly
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 18

فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجۡرَةٞ وَٰحِدَةٞ فَإِذَا هُمۡ يَنظُرُونَ

So but it is a one cry to drive out , so then they are looking/seeing
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 19

وَقَالُواْ يَٰوَيۡلَنَا هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ

And they said: "Oh our calamity/scandal that, it is the Judgment Day/Resurrection Day
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 20

هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ

That (is) the Judgment Day/Separation Day/Resurrection Day which you were with it lying/denying/falsifying
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 21

۞ٱحۡشُرُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ وَأَزۡوَٰجَهُمۡ وَمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡبُدُونَ

Gather those who were unjust/oppressive and their spouses , and what they were worshipping
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 22

مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَٱهۡدُوهُمۡ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

From other than God, so guide them to the Hell`s road/way
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 23

وَقِفُوهُمۡۖ إِنَّهُم مَّسۡـُٔولُونَ

And stop/suspend them , that they are questioned
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 24

مَا لَكُمۡ لَا تَنَاصَرُونَ

And what (is it) for you, you do not give victory/aid
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 25

بَلۡ هُمُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ مُسۡتَسۡلِمُونَ

But they are the day/today submitting/surrendering
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 26

وَأَقۡبَلَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ

And some of them approached/came on (to) some, they ask/question each other
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 27

قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّكُمۡ كُنتُمۡ تَأۡتُونَنَا عَنِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ

They said: "That you were coming to us from the right (side)
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 28

قَالُواْ بَل لَّمۡ تَكُونُواْ مُؤۡمِنِينَ

They said: "But you were not being believing
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 29

وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيۡكُم مِّن سُلۡطَٰنِۭۖ بَلۡ كُنتُمۡ قَوۡمٗا طَٰغِينَ

And (there) was not from power/control for us over you, but you were a tyrannizing/arrogant nation
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 30

فَحَقَّ عَلَيۡنَا قَوۡلُ رَبِّنَآۖ إِنَّا لَذَآئِقُونَ

So became deserved on us our Lord`s word/saying , that we (are) tasting/experiencing
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 31

فَأَغۡوَيۡنَٰكُمۡ إِنَّا كُنَّا غَٰوِينَ

So we misguided/lured you , that we were misguiding
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 32

فَإِنَّهُمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ مُشۡتَرِكُونَ

So then they are (on) that day in the torture sharing
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 33

إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَفۡعَلُ بِٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ

We, like that, We make/do with the criminals/sinners
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 34

إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوٓاْ إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمۡ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ يَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ

That they truly were if (it) was said to them: "No God except god" they be arrogant
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 35

وَيَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَتَارِكُوٓاْ ءَالِهَتِنَا لِشَاعِرٖ مَّجۡنُونِۭ

And they say: "Are we to leave our gods to a mad/insane poet
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 36

بَلۡ جَآءَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَصَدَّقَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

But He came with the truth and he confirmed the messengers
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 37

إِنَّكُمۡ لَذَآئِقُواْ ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡأَلِيمِ

That you are tasting/experiencing the torture, the painful
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 38

وَمَا تُجۡزَوۡنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ

And you are not being reimbursed except (for) what you were making/doing/working
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 39

إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ

Except God`s worshippers/slaves , the faithful/loyal
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 40

أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ رِزۡقٞ مَّعۡلُومٞ

Those, for them (is) a known provision
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 41

فَوَٰكِهُ وَهُم مُّكۡرَمُونَ

Fruits, and they are honoured
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 42

فِي جَنَّـٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ

In the blessed/comfort and ease treed gardens/paradises
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 43

عَلَىٰ سُرُرٖ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ

On beds/sofas facing each other
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 44

يُطَافُ عَلَيۡهِم بِكَأۡسٖ مِّن مَّعِينِۭ

Being circled/walked around on them with a cup/container to drink from/wine from goodness
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 45

بَيۡضَآءَ لَذَّةٖ لِّلشَّـٰرِبِينَ

White (a) delight/pleasure to the drinking
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 46

لَا فِيهَا غَوۡلٞ وَلَا هُمۡ عَنۡهَا يُنزَفُونَ

Destruction/intoxication (is) not in it, nor they be drunk/made to loose their minds/drained/exhausted from it
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 47

وَعِندَهُمۡ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ عِينٞ

And at them the eye`s/eyelid`s confining/limiting/restricting big beautiful eyes
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 48

كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيۡضٞ مَّكۡنُونٞ

As though they are (F) protected/covered whites/eggs
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 49

فَأَقۡبَلَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ

So some of them approached/came on (to) some, they ask/question each other
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 50

قَالَ قَآئِلٞ مِّنۡهُمۡ إِنِّي كَانَ لِي قَرِينٞ

A speaker from them said: "That I, (there) was for me (a) companion
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 51

يَقُولُ أَءِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُصَدِّقِينَ

He says: "You are (E) from the confirming/charity givers
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 52

أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابٗا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَدِينُونَ

Is (it that) if we died, and we were dust and bones are we indebted (E)
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 53

قَالَ هَلۡ أَنتُم مُّطَّلِعُونَ

He said: "Are you knowing/seeing/looking
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 54

فَٱطَّلَعَ فَرَءَاهُ فِي سَوَآءِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

So he looked/saw, so he saw him in the Hell`s middle
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 55

قَالَ تَٱللَّهِ إِن كِدتَّ لَتُرۡدِينِ

He said: "By God if you were about to to make me fall/ruin (E)
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 56

وَلَوۡلَا نِعۡمَةُ رَبِّي لَكُنتُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُحۡضَرِينَ

And where it not for my Lord`s blessing/goodness I would have been from the made present/attending
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 57

أَفَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَيِّتِينَ

So are we not with dying
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 58

إِلَّا مَوۡتَتَنَا ٱلۡأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ

Except our death/lifelessness the first/beginning, and we are not with being tortured
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 59

إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ

That this it is (E) the winning/success the great
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 60

لِمِثۡلِ هَٰذَا فَلۡيَعۡمَلِ ٱلۡعَٰمِلُونَ

Similar/equal/alike to this, so the makers/doers/workers, should make/do/work
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 61

أَذَٰلِكَ خَيۡرٞ نُّزُلًا أَمۡ شَجَرَةُ ٱلزَّقُّومِ

Is that a better place of descent or the deadly food`s tree
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 62

إِنَّا جَعَلۡنَٰهَا فِتۡنَةٗ لِّلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

That We made/put it (as) a test/charm to the unjust/oppressive
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 63

إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٞ تَخۡرُجُ فِيٓ أَصۡلِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

That it is a tree it emerges in the Hell`s source/root
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 64

طَلۡعُهَا كَأَنَّهُۥ رُءُوسُ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ

Its first fruit of the season as though it (is) the devils` heads/tops
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 65

فَإِنَّهُمۡ لَأٓكِلُونَ مِنۡهَا فَمَالِـُٔونَ مِنۡهَا ٱلۡبُطُونَ

So then they are eating exaggerated/gluttons from it, so they are filling from it the bellies/insides
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 66

ثُمَّ إِنَّ لَهُمۡ عَلَيۡهَا لَشَوۡبٗا مِّنۡ حَمِيمٖ

Then for them on it (is) a mixture/heat (E) from hot/cold water/red hot coal
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 67

ثُمَّ إِنَّ مَرۡجِعَهُمۡ لَإِلَى ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

Then that their return (is) to (E) the Hell
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 68

إِنَّهُمۡ أَلۡفَوۡاْ ءَابَآءَهُمۡ ضَآلِّينَ

That they truly found their fathers misguided
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 69

فَهُمۡ عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِمۡ يُهۡرَعُونَ

So they are on their tracks/marks/signs rushing disturbedly
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 70

وَلَقَدۡ ضَلَّ قَبۡلَهُمۡ أَكۡثَرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

And most of the first/beginners had been (E) misguided before them
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 71

وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا فِيهِم مُّنذِرِينَ

And We had (E) sent in (between) them warners/givers of notice
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 72

فَٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُنذَرِينَ

So look/see/wonder about how was the warned`s/given notice`s end/turn (result)
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 73

إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ

Except God`s worshippers/slaves , the faithful/loyal/devoted
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 74

وَلَقَدۡ نَادَىٰنَا نُوحٞ فَلَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡمُجِيبُونَ

And Noah had called/cried (to) Us, so blessed/praised (E) (are) the answerers/repliers
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 75

وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُ وَأَهۡلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلۡكَرۡبِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ

And We saved/rescued him and his family/relation from the grief, hardship and suffering the great
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 76

وَجَعَلۡنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥ هُمُ ٱلۡبَاقِينَ

And We made/put his descendants, they are the remaining
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 77

وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ

And We left on him in the lasts
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 78

سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ نُوحٖ فِي ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

Peace/security on Noah in the creations are together/(universes)
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 79

إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

We (E) like that, We reimburse the good doers
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 80

إِنَّهُۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

That he truly is from Our worshippers/slaves , the believers
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 81

ثُمَّ أَغۡرَقۡنَا ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ

Then We drowned/sunk the others/lasts
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 82

۞وَإِنَّ مِن شِيعَتِهِۦ لَإِبۡرَٰهِيمَ

And that truly from his group/party/follower (was) Abraham (E)
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 83

إِذۡ جَآءَ رَبَّهُۥ بِقَلۡبٖ سَلِيمٍ

When he came (to) his Lord with a sound/safe heart/mind
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 84

إِذۡ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوۡمِهِۦ مَاذَا تَعۡبُدُونَ

When he said to his father and nation: "What (do) you worship
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 85

أَئِفۡكًا ءَالِهَةٗ دُونَ ٱللَّهِ تُرِيدُونَ

Are falsified gods from other than God (what) you want/intend
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 86

فَمَا ظَنُّكُم بِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

So what (is) your thought/assumption with (about) the creations all together`s/ (universes`) Lord
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 87

فَنَظَرَ نَظۡرَةٗ فِي ٱلنُّجُومِ

So he looked/saw a glance/consideration in the stars/planets
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 88

فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَقِيمٞ

So he said: "That I am sick/ill
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 89

فَتَوَلَّوۡاْ عَنۡهُ مُدۡبِرِينَ

So they turned away from him giving their backs
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 90

فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِهِمۡ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَأۡكُلُونَ

So he conned his way to their gods, so he said: "Do you not eat
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 91

مَا لَكُمۡ لَا تَنطِقُونَ

Why for you, you do not speak
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 92

فَرَاغَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ضَرۡبَۢا بِٱلۡيَمِينِ

So he conned his way on them moving/striking with the right (hand)
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 93

فَأَقۡبَلُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهِ يَزِفُّونَ

So they (his nation) approached/came to him hurrying/hastening
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 94

قَالَ أَتَعۡبُدُونَ مَا تَنۡحِتُونَ

He said: "Do you worship what you carve out/cut
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 95

وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمۡ وَمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ

And God created you and what you make/do
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 96

قَالُواْ ٱبۡنُواْ لَهُۥ بُنۡيَٰنٗا فَأَلۡقُوهُ فِي ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

They said: "Build/construct for him a building/structure, so throw him away in the place of intense heat/roaring fire
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 97

فَأَرَادُواْ بِهِۦ كَيۡدٗا فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡأَسۡفَلِينَ

So they intended/wanted a conspiracy/harm with (for) him, so We made/put them the lowest/meanest
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 98

وَقَالَ إِنِّي ذَاهِبٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّي سَيَهۡدِينِ

And he said: "That I am going/going away to my Lord, he will guide me
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 99

رَبِّ هَبۡ لِي مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ

My Lord grant/present (for) me from the correct/righteous
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 100

فَبَشَّرۡنَٰهُ بِغُلَٰمٍ حَلِيمٖ

So We announced good news to him with a clement boy
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 101

فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ ٱلسَّعۡيَ قَالَ يَٰبُنَيَّ إِنِّيٓ أَرَىٰ فِي ٱلۡمَنَامِ أَنِّيٓ أَذۡبَحُكَ فَٱنظُرۡ مَاذَا تَرَىٰۚ قَالَ يَـٰٓأَبَتِ ٱفۡعَلۡ مَا تُؤۡمَرُۖ سَتَجِدُنِيٓ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ

So when he reached the struggle/endeavor with him, he said you my son: "That I, I see/understand in the sleep/dream that I, I slaughter you/cut your throat, so look/wonder about/consider what you see/understand." He said: "You my father, make/do what you are being ordered/commanded, so you will find me, if God wills/wants from the patient
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 102

فَلَمَّآ أَسۡلَمَا وَتَلَّهُۥ لِلۡجَبِينِ

So when they (B) submitted/surrounded and he pulled/pushed/followed him to the foreheads
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 103

وَنَٰدَيۡنَٰهُ أَن يَـٰٓإِبۡرَٰهِيمُ

And We called him: "That you Abraham
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 104

قَدۡ صَدَّقۡتَ ٱلرُّءۡيَآۚ إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

You had confirmed the dream, We (E), like that We reimburse the good doers
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 105

إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلۡبَلَـٰٓؤُاْ ٱلۡمُبِينُ

That truly that it is (E) the test, the clear/evident
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 106

وَفَدَيۡنَٰهُ بِذِبۡحٍ عَظِيمٖ

And We substituted him with a great slaughtered (animal)
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 107

وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ

And We left on him in the others/lasts
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 108

سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ

Safety/security/greeting on Abraham
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 109

كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

As/like that We reimburse the good doers
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 110

إِنَّهُۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

That he truly is from Our worshippers/slaves the believers
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 111

وَبَشَّرۡنَٰهُ بِإِسۡحَٰقَ نَبِيّٗا مِّنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ

And We announced good news to him (of) Isaac a prophet from the correct/righteous
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 112

وَبَٰرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ وَعَلَىٰٓ إِسۡحَٰقَۚ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحۡسِنٞ وَظَالِمٞ لِّنَفۡسِهِۦ مُبِينٞ

And We blessed on him and on Isaac, and from their (B)`s descendants, (are) good doers, and (a) clear/evident unjust/oppressive to himself
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 113

وَلَقَدۡ مَنَنَّا عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ

And We had blessed on Moses and Aaron
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 114

وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُمَا وَقَوۡمَهُمَا مِنَ ٱلۡكَرۡبِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ

And We saved/rescued them (B) and their (B)`s nation from the grief/hardship and suffering, the great
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 115

وَنَصَرۡنَٰهُمۡ فَكَانُواْ هُمُ ٱلۡغَٰلِبِينَ

And We gave them victory, so they were, they, the defeators/conquerors
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 116

وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمَا ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَبِينَ

And We gave/brought them (B) The Book , the clear/evident
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 117

وَهَدَيۡنَٰهُمَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِيمَ

And We guided them (B) the road/way, the straight/direct
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 118

وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمَا فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ

And We left on them (B) in the others/lasts
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 119

سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ

Safety/security/greeting on Moses and Aaron
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 120

إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

We (E), like that We reimburse the good doers
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 121

إِنَّهُمَا مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

That they truly are from Our worshippers/slaves the believers
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 122

وَإِنَّ إِلۡيَاسَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

And that Elias (is) from (E) the messengers
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 123

إِذۡ قَالَ لِقَوۡمِهِۦٓ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

When he said to his nation: "Do you not fear and obey
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 124

أَتَدۡعُونَ بَعۡلٗا وَتَذَرُونَ أَحۡسَنَ ٱلۡخَٰلِقِينَ

Do you call an idol statue/master , and you leave the creator`s best
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 125

ٱللَّهَ رَبَّكُمۡ وَرَبَّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

God (is) your Lord, and your fathers`/forefathers` lord the first/beginners
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 126

فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَإِنَّهُمۡ لَمُحۡضَرُونَ

So they lied/denied/falsified him, so they truly are being made to be present/attend (E)
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 127

إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ

Except God`s worshippers/slaves , the faithful/loyal/devoted
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 128

وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ

And We left on him in the others/lasts
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 129

سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِلۡ يَاسِينَ

Safety/security/greeting on Elias
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 130

إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

We, like that We reimburse the good doers
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 131

إِنَّهُۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

That he truly (is) from Our worshippers/slaves the believers
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 132

وَإِنَّ لُوطٗا لَّمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

And that truly Lot (was) from (E) the messengers
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 133

إِذۡ نَجَّيۡنَٰهُ وَأَهۡلَهُۥٓ أَجۡمَعِينَ

When We saved/rescued him and his family/people all/all together
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 134

إِلَّا عَجُوزٗا فِي ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ

Except old/weak (his wife was) in the remaining behind
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 135

ثُمَّ دَمَّرۡنَا ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ

Then We destroyed the others/lasts
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 136

وَإِنَّكُمۡ لَتَمُرُّونَ عَلَيۡهِم مُّصۡبِحِينَ

And that you, you pass (E) on them in the morning/day break
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 137

وَبِٱلَّيۡلِۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَ

And at the night, so do you not reason/understand/comprehend
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 138

وَإِنَّ يُونُسَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

And that truly Jonah (was) from (E) the messengers
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 139

إِذۡ أَبَقَ إِلَى ٱلۡفُلۡكِ ٱلۡمَشۡحُونِ

When he escaped/took shelter to the ship/ships, the full/loaded
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 140

فَسَاهَمَ فَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُدۡحَضِينَ

So he drew lots with (gambled) , so he was from the annulled/slipped
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 141

فَٱلۡتَقَمَهُ ٱلۡحُوتُ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٞ

So the large fish/whale swallowed/swallowed him quickly, and (while) he is blameworthy/blamed
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 142

فَلَوۡلَآ أَنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُسَبِّحِينَ

So had it not been for that he (was) from the praising/glorifying
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 143

لَلَبِثَ فِي بَطۡنِهِۦٓ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ يُبۡعَثُونَ

He would have stayed/remained in its belly/inside to a day/time they be sent/resurrected/revived
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 144

۞فَنَبَذۡنَٰهُ بِٱلۡعَرَآءِ وَهُوَ سَقِيمٞ

So We casted him off/discarded him at the open space and (while) he is sick/ill
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 145

وَأَنۢبَتۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ شَجَرَةٗ مِّن يَقۡطِينٖ

And We sprouted/grew on him a tree from a plant without a stem/squashes and cucumbers
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 146

وَأَرۡسَلۡنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ مِاْئَةِ أَلۡفٍ أَوۡ يَزِيدُونَ

And We sent him to one hundred thousand or they increase/exceed
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 147

فَـَٔامَنُواْ فَمَتَّعۡنَٰهُمۡ إِلَىٰ حِينٖ

So they believed, so We gave them long life/made them enjoy to a time/period of time
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 148

فَٱسۡتَفۡتِهِمۡ أَلِرَبِّكَ ٱلۡبَنَاتُ وَلَهُمُ ٱلۡبَنُونَ

So ask/take their opinion is to your Lord the daughters, and for them (are) the sons
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 149

أَمۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ إِنَٰثٗا وَهُمۡ شَٰهِدُونَ

Or We created the angels (as) females and they are witnessing/testifying
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 150

أَلَآ إِنَّهُم مِّنۡ إِفۡكِهِمۡ لَيَقُولُونَ

Is (it) not that they truly are from their lies/falsehood, they say (E)
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 151

وَلَدَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَكَٰذِبُونَ

God gave birth . And that they truly are lying/denying/falsifying (E)
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 152

أَصۡطَفَى ٱلۡبَنَاتِ عَلَى ٱلۡبَنِينَ

He chose/purified the daughters on/over the sons
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 153

مَا لَكُمۡ كَيۡفَ تَحۡكُمُونَ

What (is) for you how you judge/rule
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 154

أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

Do you not mention/remember
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 155

أَمۡ لَكُمۡ سُلۡطَٰنٞ مُّبِينٞ

Or for you (is) a clear/evident proof/evidence
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 156

فَأۡتُواْ بِكِتَٰبِكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ

So come/bring with your Book if you were truthful
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 157

وَجَعَلُواْ بَيۡنَهُۥ وَبَيۡنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ نَسَبٗاۚ وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمَتِ ٱلۡجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمۡ لَمُحۡضَرُونَ

And they made/put between Him and between the Jinns (a) relationship/kinship and the Jinns had (E) known that they truly are being made to be present/attend (E)
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 158

سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

God`s praise/glory from/about what they describe/categorize
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 159

إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ

Except God`s worshippers/slaves, the faithful/loyal/devoted
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 160

فَإِنَّكُمۡ وَمَا تَعۡبُدُونَ

So you truly are, and what you worship
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 161

مَآ أَنتُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ بِفَٰتِنِينَ

You are not on Him/it with charming/misguiding
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 162

إِلَّا مَنۡ هُوَ صَالِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

Except whom he is entering into fire/roasting the Hell
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 163

وَمَامِنَّآ إِلَّا لَهُۥ مَقَامٞ مَّعۡلُومٞ

(The angels say): "And none for Us except for him (is) a known place and time/position/status
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 164

وَإِنَّا لَنَحۡنُ ٱلصَّآفُّونَ

And that We, We are (E) the liners/arrangers
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 165

وَإِنَّا لَنَحۡنُ ٱلۡمُسَبِّحُونَ

And that We, We are (E) the praising/glorifying
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 166

وَإِن كَانُواْ لَيَقُولُونَ

And if they (the disbelievers) were saying (E)
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 167

لَوۡ أَنَّ عِندَنَا ذِكۡرٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

If that (E) at us (is) a reminder/remembrance from the first/beginners
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 168

لَكُنَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ

We would have been God`s worshippers/slaves , the faithful/loyal/devoted
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 169

فَكَفَرُواْ بِهِۦۖ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ

So they disbelieved with (in) Him, so they will know
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 170

وَلَقَدۡ سَبَقَتۡ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

And Our words/expressions/speech had (E) preceded to Our worshippers/slaves the messengers
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 171

إِنَّهُمۡ لَهُمُ ٱلۡمَنصُورُونَ

That they truly, they are (E) the victorious
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 172

وَإِنَّ جُندَنَا لَهُمُ ٱلۡغَٰلِبُونَ

And that (E) Our soldiers/warriors , they are (E) the defeators/conquerors
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 173

فَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ حِينٖ

So turn away from them until a time/period of time
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 174

وَأَبۡصِرۡهُمۡ فَسَوۡفَ يُبۡصِرُونَ

And make them see/understand, so they will/shall see/look/understand
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 175

أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ

Are they with Our torture urging/hastening
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 176

فَإِذَا نَزَلَ بِسَاحَتِهِمۡ فَسَآءَ صَبَاحُ ٱلۡمُنذَرِينَ

So if it (the torture) descended at their court/yard, so it became (a) bad/evil/harmful morning/day break (of) the warned/given notice
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 177
