Surah Sad - English Translation by Tbirving
صٓۚ وَٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ ذِي ٱلذِّكۡرِ
By the Quran so full of renown
Surah Sad, Verse 1
بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فِي عِزَّةٖ وَشِقَاقٖ
Rather those who disbelieve [are toying] with prestige and dissension
Surah Sad, Verse 2
كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّن قَرۡنٖ فَنَادَواْ وَّلَاتَ حِينَ مَنَاصٖ
How many generations have We wiped out before them? They called out, and the time for escape had lapsed
Surah Sad, Verse 3
وَعَجِبُوٓاْ أَن جَآءَهُم مُّنذِرٞ مِّنۡهُمۡۖ وَقَالَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ هَٰذَا سَٰحِرٞ كَذَّابٌ
They are surprise that a warner should come to them from among themselves. Disbelievers say: "This is some lying magician
Surah Sad, Verse 4
أَجَعَلَ ٱلۡأٓلِهَةَ إِلَٰهٗا وَٰحِدًاۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَشَيۡءٌ عُجَابٞ
Has he made [all] the gods into One God? This is such an amazing thing
Surah Sad, Verse 5
وَٱنطَلَقَ ٱلۡمَلَأُ مِنۡهُمۡ أَنِ ٱمۡشُواْ وَٱصۡبِرُواْ عَلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِكُمۡۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَشَيۡءٞ يُرَادُ
The elders among them sound off: "Walk around and be patient concerning your gods. This is something to be desired
Surah Sad, Verse 6
مَا سَمِعۡنَا بِهَٰذَا فِي ٱلۡمِلَّةِ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا ٱخۡتِلَٰقٌ
We have not heard any of this among any latter-day denomination; this is merely a fabrication
Surah Sad, Verse 7
أَءُنزِلَ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلذِّكۡرُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِنَاۚ بَلۡ هُمۡ فِي شَكّٖ مِّن ذِكۡرِيۚ بَل لَّمَّا يَذُوقُواْ عَذَابِ
Has a Reminder been revealed just to him among us?", Indeed they are in doubt about My reminder; rather they have not yet tasted any torment
Surah Sad, Verse 8
أَمۡ عِندَهُمۡ خَزَآئِنُ رَحۡمَةِ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡوَهَّابِ
Or do they have treasures from the mercy of your Lord, the Powerful, the Bountiful
Surah Sad, Verse 9
أَمۡ لَهُم مُّلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَاۖ فَلۡيَرۡتَقُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَسۡبَٰبِ
Have they control over Heaven and Earth and whatever [lies] between them? Let them haul themselves up on ropes
Surah Sad, Verse 10
جُندٞ مَّا هُنَالِكَ مَهۡزُومٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابِ
What a partisan army will be routed there
Surah Sad, Verse 11
كَذَّبَتۡ قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمُ نُوحٖ وَعَادٞ وَفِرۡعَوۡنُ ذُو ٱلۡأَوۡتَادِ
Noah´s folk and Ad´s rejected [Me] before them, and [so did] Pharaoh who [impaled men] on stakes
Surah Sad, Verse 12
وَثَمُودُ وَقَوۡمُ لُوطٖ وَأَصۡحَٰبُ لۡـَٔيۡكَةِۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابُ
and Thamud, Lots folk, and the inhabitants of the Forest. Those were all partisans
Surah Sad, Verse 13
إِن كُلٌّ إِلَّا كَذَّبَ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ عِقَابِ
every last one rejected the messengers, so My punishment was justified
Surah Sad, Verse 14
وَمَا يَنظُرُ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِلَّا صَيۡحَةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ مَّا لَهَا مِن فَوَاقٖ
Those persons only await a single Blast which will [allow for] no delay
Surah Sad, Verse 15
وَقَالُواْ رَبَّنَا عَجِّل لَّنَا قِطَّنَا قَبۡلَ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡحِسَابِ
They will say: "Our Lord, hasten our doom for us before the Day of Reckoning
Surah Sad, Verse 16
ٱصۡبِرۡ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَٱذۡكُرۡ عَبۡدَنَا دَاوُۥدَ ذَا ٱلۡأَيۡدِۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ
Endure what they are saying and remember how Our servant David commanded assistance; he was attentive [to God]
Surah Sad, Verse 17
إِنَّا سَخَّرۡنَا ٱلۡجِبَالَ مَعَهُۥ يُسَبِّحۡنَ بِٱلۡعَشِيِّ وَٱلۡإِشۡرَاقِ
We forced the mountains to glorify [God] with him at evening and sunrise
Surah Sad, Verse 18
وَٱلطَّيۡرَ مَحۡشُورَةٗۖ كُلّٞ لَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٞ
and the birds were summoned and each was [made] attentive to him
Surah Sad, Verse 19
وَشَدَدۡنَا مُلۡكَهُۥ وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ ٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ وَفَصۡلَ ٱلۡخِطَابِ
We strengthened his control and gave him wisdom and distinction as an orator
Surah Sad, Verse 20
۞وَهَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ نَبَؤُاْ ٱلۡخَصۡمِ إِذۡ تَسَوَّرُواْ ٱلۡمِحۡرَابَ
Has news of the litigants ever reached you, when they climbed over the wall into the sanctuary
Surah Sad, Verse 21
إِذۡ دَخَلُواْ عَلَىٰ دَاوُۥدَ فَفَزِعَ مِنۡهُمۡۖ قَالُواْ لَا تَخَفۡۖ خَصۡمَانِ بَغَىٰ بَعۡضُنَا عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ فَٱحۡكُم بَيۡنَنَا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَا تُشۡطِطۡ وَٱهۡدِنَآ إِلَىٰ سَوَآءِ ٱلصِّرَٰطِ
Thus they burst in upon David so he was startled by them. They said: "Don´t be afraid: [we are] two litigants, one of whom has injured the other; so judge correctly between us and do not act too stern. Guide us along the Level Road
Surah Sad, Verse 22
إِنَّ هَٰذَآ أَخِي لَهُۥ تِسۡعٞ وَتِسۡعُونَ نَعۡجَةٗ وَلِيَ نَعۡجَةٞ وَٰحِدَةٞ فَقَالَ أَكۡفِلۡنِيهَا وَعَزَّنِي فِي ٱلۡخِطَابِ
This is my brother; he has ninety-nine ewes while I have but a single ewe. He has said: "Turn her over to me," and has spoken harshly to me
Surah Sad, Verse 23
قَالَ لَقَدۡ ظَلَمَكَ بِسُؤَالِ نَعۡجَتِكَ إِلَىٰ نِعَاجِهِۦۖ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡخُلَطَآءِ لَيَبۡغِي بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٍ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ وَقَلِيلٞ مَّا هُمۡۗ وَظَنَّ دَاوُۥدُ أَنَّمَا فَتَنَّـٰهُ فَٱسۡتَغۡفَرَ رَبَّهُۥ وَخَرَّۤ رَاكِعٗاۤ وَأَنَابَ۩
He said: "He has wronged you by asking for your ewe [to be added] to his own ewes. Many partners try to take advantage of one another, except for those who believe and perform honorable deeds. Such are few indeed." David suspected that We were merely testing him, so he sought forgiveness from his Lord and dropped down on his knees [in worship], and repented
Surah Sad, Verse 24
فَغَفَرۡنَا لَهُۥ ذَٰلِكَۖ وَإِنَّ لَهُۥ عِندَنَا لَزُلۡفَىٰ وَحُسۡنَ مَـَٔابٖ
So We forgave him that. He enjoys precedence with Us and the finest retreat
Surah Sad, Verse 25
يَٰدَاوُۥدُ إِنَّا جَعَلۡنَٰكَ خَلِيفَةٗ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱحۡكُم بَيۡنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعِ ٱلۡهَوَىٰ فَيُضِلَّكَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَضِلُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ شَدِيدُۢ بِمَا نَسُواْ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡحِسَابِ
David, We have placed you as an overlord on earth, so judge among men correctly and do not follow any whims which will lead you away from God´s path. Those who stray from God´s path will have severe torment because they have forgotten the Day of Reckoning
Surah Sad, Verse 26
وَمَا خَلَقۡنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا بَٰطِلٗاۚ ذَٰلِكَ ظَنُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْۚ فَوَيۡلٞ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ
We did not create Heaven and Earth and whatever [lies] in between them to no purpose. That is the opinion of those who disbelieve. Those who disbelieve should beware of the Fire
Surah Sad, Verse 27
أَمۡ نَجۡعَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ كَٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَمۡ نَجۡعَلُ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ كَٱلۡفُجَّارِ
Shall We treat those who believe and perform honorable deeds just like mischief-makers on earth? Or should We treat those who do their duty, like lawbreakers
Surah Sad, Verse 28
كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ إِلَيۡكَ مُبَٰرَكٞ لِّيَدَّبَّرُوٓاْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُوْلُواْ ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ
We have sent down a Book to you that is blessed, so prudent men may ponder over its verses and thereby be reminded
Surah Sad, Verse 29
وَوَهَبۡنَا لِدَاوُۥدَ سُلَيۡمَٰنَۚ نِعۡمَ ٱلۡعَبۡدُ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ
We bestowed Solomon on David. How favored was such a servant; he was so attentive
Surah Sad, Verse 30
إِذۡ عُرِضَ عَلَيۡهِ بِٱلۡعَشِيِّ ٱلصَّـٰفِنَٰتُ ٱلۡجِيَادُ
When the thoroughbreds were led out to prance before him in the evening
Surah Sad, Verse 31
فَقَالَ إِنِّيٓ أَحۡبَبۡتُ حُبَّ ٱلۡخَيۡرِ عَن ذِكۡرِ رَبِّي حَتَّىٰ تَوَارَتۡ بِٱلۡحِجَابِ
he said: "I have loved good things instead of remembering God," until the [sun] was concealed behind the veil [of night again]
Surah Sad, Verse 32
رُدُّوهَا عَلَيَّۖ فَطَفِقَ مَسۡحَۢا بِٱلسُّوقِ وَٱلۡأَعۡنَاقِ
Bring them back to me!" [he said], and he started to stroke their legs and necks
Surah Sad, Verse 33
وَلَقَدۡ فَتَنَّا سُلَيۡمَٰنَ وَأَلۡقَيۡنَا عَلَىٰ كُرۡسِيِّهِۦ جَسَدٗا ثُمَّ أَنَابَ
We tested Solomon and dropped a[nother] body on his seat; then he repented
Surah Sad, Verse 34
قَالَ رَبِّ ٱغۡفِرۡ لِي وَهَبۡ لِي مُلۡكٗا لَّا يَنۢبَغِي لِأَحَدٖ مِّنۢ بَعۡدِيٓۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلۡوَهَّابُ
He said: "My Lord, forgive me and bestow control on me such as will not suit anyone after me. You are the Bountiful
Surah Sad, Verse 35
فَسَخَّرۡنَا لَهُ ٱلرِّيحَ تَجۡرِي بِأَمۡرِهِۦ رُخَآءً حَيۡثُ أَصَابَ
So We subjected the wind to him: it blew gently at his command wherever he directed it
Surah Sad, Verse 36
وَٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ كُلَّ بَنَّآءٖ وَغَوَّاصٖ
and the devils, every builder and diver
Surah Sad, Verse 37
وَءَاخَرِينَ مُقَرَّنِينَ فِي ٱلۡأَصۡفَادِ
as well as others hitched together in a chain gang
Surah Sad, Verse 38
هَٰذَا عَطَآؤُنَا فَٱمۡنُنۡ أَوۡ أَمۡسِكۡ بِغَيۡرِ حِسَابٖ
Such are Our gifts; grant them freely or hold them back, without any [further] reckoning
Surah Sad, Verse 39
وَإِنَّ لَهُۥ عِندَنَا لَزُلۡفَىٰ وَحُسۡنَ مَـَٔابٖ
He holds precedence with Us and the finest retreat
Surah Sad, Verse 40
وَٱذۡكُرۡ عَبۡدَنَآ أَيُّوبَ إِذۡ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ بِنُصۡبٖ وَعَذَابٍ
Remember Our servant Job when he called upon his Lord: "Satan has afflicted me with toil and torment
Surah Sad, Verse 41
ٱرۡكُضۡ بِرِجۡلِكَۖ هَٰذَا مُغۡتَسَلُۢ بَارِدٞ وَشَرَابٞ
Stomp your foot; this is a cool spring to wash in and for drinking (too)
Surah Sad, Verse 42
وَوَهَبۡنَا لَهُۥٓ أَهۡلَهُۥ وَمِثۡلَهُم مَّعَهُمۡ رَحۡمَةٗ مِّنَّا وَذِكۡرَىٰ لِأُوْلِي ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ
We restored his family to him and the like of them besides, as a mercy from Us and a Reminder for prudent persons
Surah Sad, Verse 43
وَخُذۡ بِيَدِكَ ضِغۡثٗا فَٱضۡرِب بِّهِۦ وَلَا تَحۡنَثۡۗ إِنَّا وَجَدۡنَٰهُ صَابِرٗاۚ نِّعۡمَ ٱلۡعَبۡدُ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٞ
Take a bundle (of twigs) in your hand and beat [your wife] with it, and do not break your word." We found him to be patient; how favored was such a servant. He was so attentive
Surah Sad, Verse 44
وَٱذۡكُرۡ عِبَٰدَنَآ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسۡحَٰقَ وَيَعۡقُوبَ أُوْلِي ٱلۡأَيۡدِي وَٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرِ
Remember Our servants Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, who possessed both might and insight
Surah Sad, Verse 45
إِنَّآ أَخۡلَصۡنَٰهُم بِخَالِصَةٖ ذِكۡرَى ٱلدَّارِ
We dedicated them specifically as a reminder for the Home
Surah Sad, Verse 46
وَإِنَّهُمۡ عِندَنَا لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُصۡطَفَيۡنَ ٱلۡأَخۡيَارِ
some of them were selected from the very best by Us
Surah Sad, Verse 47
وَٱذۡكُرۡ إِسۡمَٰعِيلَ وَٱلۡيَسَعَ وَذَا ٱلۡكِفۡلِۖ وَكُلّٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَخۡيَارِ
Remember Ishmael, Elisha and [Ezekiel] with the Commission; each [came] from the very best
Surah Sad, Verse 48
هَٰذَا ذِكۡرٞۚ وَإِنَّ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ لَحُسۡنَ مَـَٔابٖ
This is a Reminder; those who do their duty shall have a fine retreat
Surah Sad, Verse 49
جَنَّـٰتِ عَدۡنٖ مُّفَتَّحَةٗ لَّهُمُ ٱلۡأَبۡوَٰبُ
gardens of Eden whose gates will swing open for them
Surah Sad, Verse 50
مُتَّكِـِٔينَ فِيهَا يَدۡعُونَ فِيهَا بِفَٰكِهَةٖ كَثِيرَةٖ وَشَرَابٖ
Relaxing there, they will call for much fruit and drink in them
Surah Sad, Verse 51
۞وَعِندَهُمۡ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ أَتۡرَابٌ
With them there will be bashful mates equal in age to them
Surah Sad, Verse 52
هَٰذَا مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِيَوۡمِ ٱلۡحِسَابِ
This is what you were promised on the Day of Reckoning
Surah Sad, Verse 53
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَرِزۡقُنَا مَا لَهُۥ مِن نَّفَادٍ
this is Our provision which will never he used up
Surah Sad, Verse 54
هَٰذَاۚ وَإِنَّ لِلطَّـٰغِينَ لَشَرَّ مَـَٔابٖ
Such will it be, while the arrogant will have the worst retreat
Surah Sad, Verse 55
جَهَنَّمَ يَصۡلَوۡنَهَا فَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمِهَادُ
Hell! They will roast in it, and on an awful couch
Surah Sad, Verse 56
هَٰذَا فَلۡيَذُوقُوهُ حَمِيمٞ وَغَسَّاقٞ
Here it is; let them taste it: scalding water and bitter cold
Surah Sad, Verse 57
وَءَاخَرُ مِن شَكۡلِهِۦٓ أَزۡوَٰجٌ
and others of its sort to match
Surah Sad, Verse 58
هَٰذَا فَوۡجٞ مُّقۡتَحِمٞ مَّعَكُمۡ لَا مَرۡحَبَۢا بِهِمۡۚ إِنَّهُمۡ صَالُواْ ٱلنَّارِ
Here comes a troop rushing at you! They have no welcome here, for they must roast in the Fire
Surah Sad, Verse 59
قَالُواْ بَلۡ أَنتُمۡ لَا مَرۡحَبَۢا بِكُمۡۖ أَنتُمۡ قَدَّمۡتُمُوهُ لَنَاۖ فَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡقَرَارُ
They will say: "Indeed you have no welcome either. You have prepared it for us; what an awful plight
Surah Sad, Verse 60
قَالُواْ رَبَّنَا مَن قَدَّمَ لَنَا هَٰذَا فَزِدۡهُ عَذَابٗا ضِعۡفٗا فِي ٱلنَّارِ
They will say: "Our Lord, whoever prepared this for us? Give him double torment in the Fire
Surah Sad, Verse 61
وَقَالُواْ مَا لَنَا لَا نَرَىٰ رِجَالٗا كُنَّا نَعُدُّهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَشۡرَارِ
They will say: "What is the matter with us that we do not see any men whom we used to consider were evil persons
Surah Sad, Verse 62
أَتَّخَذۡنَٰهُمۡ سِخۡرِيًّا أَمۡ زَاغَتۡ عَنۡهُمُ ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ
Did we take them for laughingstocks or has our eyesight failed to notice them
Surah Sad, Verse 63
إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَحَقّٞ تَخَاصُمُ أَهۡلِ ٱلنَّارِ
That is true: the people in the Fire will just argue away
Surah Sad, Verse 64
قُلۡ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ مُنذِرٞۖ وَمَا مِنۡ إِلَٰهٍ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡوَٰحِدُ ٱلۡقَهَّارُ
SAY: "I am only a warner, and there is no deity except God Alone the Irresistible
Surah Sad, Verse 65
رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡغَفَّـٰرُ
Lord of Heaven and Earth and whatever [lies] in between them, the Powerful, the Forgiving
Surah Sad, Verse 66
قُلۡ هُوَ نَبَؤٌاْ عَظِيمٌ
SAY: "It is a fateful message you are shunning
Surah Sad, Verse 67
أَنتُمۡ عَنۡهُ مُعۡرِضُونَ
I have no knowledge about the supreme council such as they claim to have
Surah Sad, Verse 68
مَا كَانَ لِيَ مِنۡ عِلۡمِۭ بِٱلۡمَلَإِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰٓ إِذۡ يَخۡتَصِمُونَ
It has been revealed to me only that I am a plain warner
Surah Sad, Verse 69
إِن يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَيَّ إِلَّآ أَنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ نَذِيرٞ مُّبِينٌ
Once your Lord told the angels: "I am about to create a human being out of clay
Surah Sad, Verse 70
إِذۡ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّي خَٰلِقُۢ بَشَرٗا مِّن طِينٖ
When I have fashioned him and breathed some of My spirit into him, drop down on your knees before him
Surah Sad, Verse 71
فَإِذَا سَوَّيۡتُهُۥ وَنَفَخۡتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِي فَقَعُواْ لَهُۥ سَٰجِدِينَ
The angels all bowed down on their knees together
Surah Sad, Verse 72
فَسَجَدَ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعُونَ
except for Diabolis; he was too proud and a disbeliever besides
Surah Sad, Verse 73
إِلَّآ إِبۡلِيسَ ٱسۡتَكۡبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
He said: ´Diabolis, what prevents you from kneeling down before something I have created with My own hands? Have you become too proud
Surah Sad, Verse 74
قَالَ يَـٰٓإِبۡلِيسُ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَن تَسۡجُدَ لِمَا خَلَقۡتُ بِيَدَيَّۖ أَسۡتَكۡبَرۡتَ أَمۡ كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلۡعَالِينَ
or are you overbearing
Surah Sad, Verse 75
قَالَ أَنَا۠ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡهُ خَلَقۡتَنِي مِن نَّارٖ وَخَلَقۡتَهُۥ مِن طِينٖ
He said: "I am better than he is: You created me from fire while You created him from clay
Surah Sad, Verse 76
قَالَ فَٱخۡرُجۡ مِنۡهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٞ
He said: "Clear out of here! You are an outcast
Surah Sad, Verse 77
وَإِنَّ عَلَيۡكَ لَعۡنَتِيٓ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ
upon you My curse will rest until the Day for Repayment
Surah Sad, Verse 78
قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرۡنِيٓ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ يُبۡعَثُونَ
He said: "My Lord, let me wait until the day when they will be raised up again
Surah Sad, Verse 79
قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُنظَرِينَ
He said: "You are one of those who may wait
Surah Sad, Verse 80
إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡوَقۡتِ ٱلۡمَعۡلُومِ
till a day in known time
Surah Sad, Verse 81
قَالَ فَبِعِزَّتِكَ لَأُغۡوِيَنَّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ
He said: "Through Your influence, I´ll seduce them all
Surah Sad, Verse 82
إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنۡهُمُ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ
except for those among them who are Your sincere worshippers
Surah Sad, Verse 83
قَالَ فَٱلۡحَقُّ وَٱلۡحَقَّ أَقُولُ
He said: "Such is the Truth, and the Truth do I speak
Surah Sad, Verse 84
لَأَمۡلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنكَ وَمِمَّن تَبِعَكَ مِنۡهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ
I shall fill Hell with you and any of them who follows you!´
Surah Sad, Verse 85
قُلۡ مَآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ مِنۡ أَجۡرٖ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلۡمُتَكَلِّفِينَ
SAY: "I do not ask you (all) for any payment for it. Nor am I standing on ceremony
Surah Sad, Verse 86
إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرٞ لِّلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
it is only a Reminder to [everyone in] the Universe
Surah Sad, Verse 87
وَلَتَعۡلَمُنَّ نَبَأَهُۥ بَعۡدَ حِينِۭ
so you may know its message after a while
Surah Sad, Verse 88
