Surah Sad - English Translation by The Monotheist Group Edition
صٓۚ وَٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ ذِي ٱلذِّكۡرِ
S', and the Qur'an that contains the remembrance
Surah Sad, Verse 1
بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فِي عِزَّةٖ وَشِقَاقٖ
Indeed, those who have disbelieved are in false pride and defiance
Surah Sad, Verse 2
كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّن قَرۡنٖ فَنَادَواْ وَّلَاتَ حِينَ مَنَاصٖ
How many a generation have We destroyed before them. And they called out when it was far too late
Surah Sad, Verse 3
وَعَجِبُوٓاْ أَن جَآءَهُم مُّنذِرٞ مِّنۡهُمۡۖ وَقَالَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ هَٰذَا سَٰحِرٞ كَذَّابٌ
And they were surprised that a warner has come to them from among themselves. And the rejecters said: "This is a magician, a liar
Surah Sad, Verse 4
أَجَعَلَ ٱلۡأٓلِهَةَ إِلَٰهٗا وَٰحِدًاۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَشَيۡءٌ عُجَابٞ
Has he made the gods into One god? This is indeed a strange thing
Surah Sad, Verse 5
وَٱنطَلَقَ ٱلۡمَلَأُ مِنۡهُمۡ أَنِ ٱمۡشُواْ وَٱصۡبِرُواْ عَلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِكُمۡۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَشَيۡءٞ يُرَادُ
And the leaders among them went out: "Walk away, and remain patient to your gods. This thing can be turned back
Surah Sad, Verse 6
مَا سَمِعۡنَا بِهَٰذَا فِي ٱلۡمِلَّةِ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا ٱخۡتِلَٰقٌ
We never heard of this from the people before us. This is but an innovation
Surah Sad, Verse 7
أَءُنزِلَ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلذِّكۡرُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِنَاۚ بَلۡ هُمۡ فِي شَكّٖ مِّن ذِكۡرِيۚ بَل لَّمَّا يَذُوقُواْ عَذَابِ
Has the remembrance been sent down to him, from between all of us!" Indeed, they are doubtful of My reminder. Indeed, they have not yet tasted My retribution
Surah Sad, Verse 8
أَمۡ عِندَهُمۡ خَزَآئِنُ رَحۡمَةِ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡوَهَّابِ
Or do they have the treasures of mercy of your Lord, the Noble, the Grantor
Surah Sad, Verse 9
أَمۡ لَهُم مُّلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَاۖ فَلۡيَرۡتَقُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَسۡبَٰبِ
Or do they possess the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them? Then let them bring their own solutions
Surah Sad, Verse 10
جُندٞ مَّا هُنَالِكَ مَهۡزُومٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابِ
The Confederates that have gathered will be defeated
Surah Sad, Verse 11
كَذَّبَتۡ قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمُ نُوحٖ وَعَادٞ وَفِرۡعَوۡنُ ذُو ٱلۡأَوۡتَادِ
Disbelieving before them were the people of Noah, 'Aad, and Pharaoh with the planks
Surah Sad, Verse 12
وَثَمُودُ وَقَوۡمُ لُوطٖ وَأَصۡحَٰبُ لۡـَٔيۡكَةِۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابُ
And Thamud, and the people of Lot, and the people of the Sycamore; these are the Confederates
Surah Sad, Verse 13
إِن كُلٌّ إِلَّا كَذَّبَ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ عِقَابِ
Each of them disbelieved the messengers, therefore My retribution came to be
Surah Sad, Verse 14
وَمَا يَنظُرُ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِلَّا صَيۡحَةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ مَّا لَهَا مِن فَوَاقٖ
And what these people are waiting for is a single scream, from which they will not recover
Surah Sad, Verse 15
وَقَالُواْ رَبَّنَا عَجِّل لَّنَا قِطَّنَا قَبۡلَ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡحِسَابِ
And they said: "Our Lord, hasten for us our punishment, before the Day of Reckoning
Surah Sad, Verse 16
ٱصۡبِرۡ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَٱذۡكُرۡ عَبۡدَنَا دَاوُۥدَ ذَا ٱلۡأَيۡدِۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ
Be patient to what they say, and recall Our servant David, the resourceful. He was obedient
Surah Sad, Verse 17
إِنَّا سَخَّرۡنَا ٱلۡجِبَالَ مَعَهُۥ يُسَبِّحۡنَ بِٱلۡعَشِيِّ وَٱلۡإِشۡرَاقِ
We commissioned the mountains to glorify with him, at dusk and dawn
Surah Sad, Verse 18
وَٱلطَّيۡرَ مَحۡشُورَةٗۖ كُلّٞ لَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٞ
And the birds were gathered; all were obedient to him
Surah Sad, Verse 19
وَشَدَدۡنَا مُلۡكَهُۥ وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ ٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ وَفَصۡلَ ٱلۡخِطَابِ
And We strengthened his kingship, and We gave him the wisdom and the ability to make sound judgment
Surah Sad, Verse 20
۞وَهَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ نَبَؤُاْ ٱلۡخَصۡمِ إِذۡ تَسَوَّرُواْ ٱلۡمِحۡرَابَ
Did the news come to you of the disputing party who came over into the temple enclosure
Surah Sad, Verse 21
إِذۡ دَخَلُواْ عَلَىٰ دَاوُۥدَ فَفَزِعَ مِنۡهُمۡۖ قَالُواْ لَا تَخَفۡۖ خَصۡمَانِ بَغَىٰ بَعۡضُنَا عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ فَٱحۡكُم بَيۡنَنَا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَا تُشۡطِطۡ وَٱهۡدِنَآ إِلَىٰ سَوَآءِ ٱلصِّرَٰطِ
When they entered upon David, he was startled by them. They said: "Have no fear. We are two who have disputed, and one has wronged the other, so judge between us with the truth, and do not wrong us, and guide us to the right path
Surah Sad, Verse 22
إِنَّ هَٰذَآ أَخِي لَهُۥ تِسۡعٞ وَتِسۡعُونَ نَعۡجَةٗ وَلِيَ نَعۡجَةٞ وَٰحِدَةٞ فَقَالَ أَكۡفِلۡنِيهَا وَعَزَّنِي فِي ٱلۡخِطَابِ
This is my brother and he owns ninety-nine lambs, while I own one lamb; so he said to me: "'Let me take care of it' and he pressured me
Surah Sad, Verse 23
قَالَ لَقَدۡ ظَلَمَكَ بِسُؤَالِ نَعۡجَتِكَ إِلَىٰ نِعَاجِهِۦۖ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡخُلَطَآءِ لَيَبۡغِي بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٍ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ وَقَلِيلٞ مَّا هُمۡۗ وَظَنَّ دَاوُۥدُ أَنَّمَا فَتَنَّـٰهُ فَٱسۡتَغۡفَرَ رَبَّهُۥ وَخَرَّۤ رَاكِعٗاۤ وَأَنَابَ۩
He said: "He has wronged you by asking to combine your lamb with his lambs. And many who mix their properties take advantage of one another, except those who believe and do good works, and these are very few." And David guessed that We had tested him, so he sought forgiveness from his Lord, and fell down kneeling, and repented
Surah Sad, Verse 24
فَغَفَرۡنَا لَهُۥ ذَٰلِكَۖ وَإِنَّ لَهُۥ عِندَنَا لَزُلۡفَىٰ وَحُسۡنَ مَـَٔابٖ
So We forgave him in this matter. And for him with Us is a near position, and a beautiful abode
Surah Sad, Verse 25
يَٰدَاوُۥدُ إِنَّا جَعَلۡنَٰكَ خَلِيفَةٗ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱحۡكُم بَيۡنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعِ ٱلۡهَوَىٰ فَيُضِلَّكَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَضِلُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ شَدِيدُۢ بِمَا نَسُواْ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡحِسَابِ
O David, We have made you a successor on the earth. Therefore, you shall judge among the people with the truth, and do not follow desire, lest it diverts you from the path of God. Indeed, those who stray off the path of God will have a severe retribution for forgetting the Day of Reckoning
Surah Sad, Verse 26
وَمَا خَلَقۡنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا بَٰطِلٗاۚ ذَٰلِكَ ظَنُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْۚ فَوَيۡلٞ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ
And We did not create the heaven and the earth, and everything between them, in vain. Such is the thinking of those who rejected. Therefore, woe to those who have rejected from the Fire
Surah Sad, Verse 27
أَمۡ نَجۡعَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ كَٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَمۡ نَجۡعَلُ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ كَٱلۡفُجَّارِ
Or shall We treat those who believe and do good works as We treat those who make corruption on the earth? Or shall We treat the righteous as the wicked
Surah Sad, Verse 28
كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ إِلَيۡكَ مُبَٰرَكٞ لِّيَدَّبَّرُوٓاْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُوْلُواْ ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ
A Book that We have sent down to you, that is blessed, so that they may reflect upon its revelations, and so that those who possess intelligence will take heed
Surah Sad, Verse 29
وَوَهَبۡنَا لِدَاوُۥدَ سُلَيۡمَٰنَۚ نِعۡمَ ٱلۡعَبۡدُ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ
And to David We granted Solomon. What an excellent and obedient servant
Surah Sad, Verse 30
إِذۡ عُرِضَ عَلَيۡهِ بِٱلۡعَشِيِّ ٱلصَّـٰفِنَٰتُ ٱلۡجِيَادُ
When, before evening, well trained horses were displayed before him
Surah Sad, Verse 31
فَقَالَ إِنِّيٓ أَحۡبَبۡتُ حُبَّ ٱلۡخَيۡرِ عَن ذِكۡرِ رَبِّي حَتَّىٰ تَوَارَتۡ بِٱلۡحِجَابِ
He said: "I have enjoyed materialism more than I enjoyed the remembrance of my Lord; until it had set beyond the horizon
Surah Sad, Verse 32
رُدُّوهَا عَلَيَّۖ فَطَفِقَ مَسۡحَۢا بِٱلسُّوقِ وَٱلۡأَعۡنَاقِ
Send them back." He then rubbed their legs and necks
Surah Sad, Verse 33
وَلَقَدۡ فَتَنَّا سُلَيۡمَٰنَ وَأَلۡقَيۡنَا عَلَىٰ كُرۡسِيِّهِۦ جَسَدٗا ثُمَّ أَنَابَ
And We tested Solomon and placed a corpse upon his throne, but he then repented
Surah Sad, Verse 34
قَالَ رَبِّ ٱغۡفِرۡ لِي وَهَبۡ لِي مُلۡكٗا لَّا يَنۢبَغِي لِأَحَدٖ مِّنۢ بَعۡدِيٓۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلۡوَهَّابُ
He said: "My Lord, forgive me, and grant me a kingship that will never be attained by anyone after me. You are the Grantor
Surah Sad, Verse 35
فَسَخَّرۡنَا لَهُ ٱلرِّيحَ تَجۡرِي بِأَمۡرِهِۦ رُخَآءً حَيۡثُ أَصَابَ
So, We commissioned the wind to run by his command, raining gently where he directed it
Surah Sad, Verse 36
وَٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ كُلَّ بَنَّآءٖ وَغَوَّاصٖ
And the devils, building and diving
Surah Sad, Verse 37
وَءَاخَرِينَ مُقَرَّنِينَ فِي ٱلۡأَصۡفَادِ
And others, held by restraints
Surah Sad, Verse 38
هَٰذَا عَطَآؤُنَا فَٱمۡنُنۡ أَوۡ أَمۡسِكۡ بِغَيۡرِ حِسَابٖ
This is Our gift, so you may spend or withhold, without any repercussions
Surah Sad, Verse 39
وَإِنَّ لَهُۥ عِندَنَا لَزُلۡفَىٰ وَحُسۡنَ مَـَٔابٖ
And he has a near position with Us, and a wonderful abode
Surah Sad, Verse 40
وَٱذۡكُرۡ عَبۡدَنَآ أَيُّوبَ إِذۡ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ بِنُصۡبٖ وَعَذَابٍ
And recall Our servant Job, when he called upon his Lord: "The devil has afflicted me with an illness and pain
Surah Sad, Verse 41
ٱرۡكُضۡ بِرِجۡلِكَۖ هَٰذَا مُغۡتَسَلُۢ بَارِدٞ وَشَرَابٞ
Rapidly move with your foot, here is a cold spring to wash with and to drink
Surah Sad, Verse 42
وَوَهَبۡنَا لَهُۥٓ أَهۡلَهُۥ وَمِثۡلَهُم مَّعَهُمۡ رَحۡمَةٗ مِّنَّا وَذِكۡرَىٰ لِأُوْلِي ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ
And We restored his family to him along with a group like them, as a mercy from Us; and a reminder for those who possess intelligence
Surah Sad, Verse 43
وَخُذۡ بِيَدِكَ ضِغۡثٗا فَٱضۡرِب بِّهِۦ وَلَا تَحۡنَثۡۗ إِنَّا وَجَدۡنَٰهُ صَابِرٗاۚ نِّعۡمَ ٱلۡعَبۡدُ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٞ
And take in your hand a bundle and go forth with it, and do not break your oath." We found him steadfast. What a good servant! He was obedient
Surah Sad, Verse 44
وَٱذۡكُرۡ عِبَٰدَنَآ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسۡحَٰقَ وَيَعۡقُوبَ أُوْلِي ٱلۡأَيۡدِي وَٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرِ
And recall Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. They were resourceful, and with vision
Surah Sad, Verse 45
إِنَّآ أَخۡلَصۡنَٰهُم بِخَالِصَةٖ ذِكۡرَى ٱلدَّارِ
We had chosen them to enforce awareness of the Hereafter
Surah Sad, Verse 46
وَإِنَّهُمۡ عِندَنَا لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُصۡطَفَيۡنَ ٱلۡأَخۡيَارِ
And they are with Us of the elite, the best
Surah Sad, Verse 47
وَٱذۡكُرۡ إِسۡمَٰعِيلَ وَٱلۡيَسَعَ وَذَا ٱلۡكِفۡلِۖ وَكُلّٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَخۡيَارِ
And recall Ishmael, Elisha, and Isaiah; all are among the best
Surah Sad, Verse 48
هَٰذَا ذِكۡرٞۚ وَإِنَّ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ لَحُسۡنَ مَـَٔابٖ
This is a reminder, and the righteous will have a wonderful abode
Surah Sad, Verse 49
جَنَّـٰتِ عَدۡنٖ مُّفَتَّحَةٗ لَّهُمُ ٱلۡأَبۡوَٰبُ
Gardens of delight, whose gates will be open for them
Surah Sad, Verse 50
مُتَّكِـِٔينَ فِيهَا يَدۡعُونَ فِيهَا بِفَٰكِهَةٖ كَثِيرَةٖ وَشَرَابٖ
Reclining therein, they will be invited to many fruits and drinks
Surah Sad, Verse 51
۞وَعِندَهُمۡ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ أَتۡرَابٌ
And with them are those with a modest gaze, mature in age
Surah Sad, Verse 52
هَٰذَا مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِيَوۡمِ ٱلۡحِسَابِ
This is what you have been promised for the Day of Reckoning
Surah Sad, Verse 53
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَرِزۡقُنَا مَا لَهُۥ مِن نَّفَادٍ
Such is Our provisions, it does not run out
Surah Sad, Verse 54
هَٰذَاۚ وَإِنَّ لِلطَّـٰغِينَ لَشَرَّ مَـَٔابٖ
This is so, and for the transgressors is a miserable destiny
Surah Sad, Verse 55
جَهَنَّمَ يَصۡلَوۡنَهَا فَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمِهَادُ
Hell is where they burn. What a miserable abode
Surah Sad, Verse 56
هَٰذَا فَلۡيَذُوقُوهُ حَمِيمٞ وَغَسَّاقٞ
This is so, and let them taste what is boiling and dark
Surah Sad, Verse 57
وَءَاخَرُ مِن شَكۡلِهِۦٓ أَزۡوَٰجٌ
And other multitudes that are similar to that
Surah Sad, Verse 58
هَٰذَا فَوۡجٞ مُّقۡتَحِمٞ مَّعَكُمۡ لَا مَرۡحَبَۢا بِهِمۡۚ إِنَّهُمۡ صَالُواْ ٱلنَّارِ
Here is another group to be thrown into Hell with you. "We have no welcome for them, for they shall burn in the Fire
Surah Sad, Verse 59
قَالُواْ بَلۡ أَنتُمۡ لَا مَرۡحَبَۢا بِكُمۡۖ أَنتُمۡ قَدَّمۡتُمُوهُ لَنَاۖ فَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡقَرَارُ
They said: "No, you are the ones without welcome. It was you who presented this to us, what a miserable result
Surah Sad, Verse 60
قَالُواْ رَبَّنَا مَن قَدَّمَ لَنَا هَٰذَا فَزِدۡهُ عَذَابٗا ضِعۡفٗا فِي ٱلنَّارِ
They said: "Our Lord, whoever brought this upon us, then double their retribution in the Fire
Surah Sad, Verse 61
وَقَالُواْ مَا لَنَا لَا نَرَىٰ رِجَالٗا كُنَّا نَعُدُّهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَشۡرَارِ
And they said: "Why do we not see some men whom we used to count among the wicked
Surah Sad, Verse 62
أَتَّخَذۡنَٰهُمۡ سِخۡرِيًّا أَمۡ زَاغَتۡ عَنۡهُمُ ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ
Did we mock them erroneously, or have our eyes failed to find them
Surah Sad, Verse 63
إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَحَقّٞ تَخَاصُمُ أَهۡلِ ٱلنَّارِ
Surely, this is in truth the feuding of the people of Hell
Surah Sad, Verse 64
قُلۡ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ مُنذِرٞۖ وَمَا مِنۡ إِلَٰهٍ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡوَٰحِدُ ٱلۡقَهَّارُ
Say: "I am but a warner; and there is no god besides God, the One, the Supreme
Surah Sad, Verse 65
رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡغَفَّـٰرُ
The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and everything between them; the Noble, the Forgiving
Surah Sad, Verse 66
قُلۡ هُوَ نَبَؤٌاْ عَظِيمٌ
Say: "It is an awesome news
Surah Sad, Verse 67
أَنتُمۡ عَنۡهُ مُعۡرِضُونَ
From which you turn away
Surah Sad, Verse 68
مَا كَانَ لِيَ مِنۡ عِلۡمِۭ بِٱلۡمَلَإِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰٓ إِذۡ يَخۡتَصِمُونَ
I had no knowledge of the command up high, that they had quarreled
Surah Sad, Verse 69
إِن يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَيَّ إِلَّآ أَنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ نَذِيرٞ مُّبِينٌ
It is only inspired to me that I am a clear warner
Surah Sad, Verse 70
إِذۡ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّي خَٰلِقُۢ بَشَرٗا مِّن طِينٖ
For your Lord said to the angels: "I am creating a human being from clay
Surah Sad, Verse 71
فَإِذَا سَوَّيۡتُهُۥ وَنَفَخۡتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِي فَقَعُواْ لَهُۥ سَٰجِدِينَ
So when I have evolved him, and blow of My Spirit in him, then you shall yield to him
Surah Sad, Verse 72
فَسَجَدَ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعُونَ
The angels yielded, all of them
Surah Sad, Verse 73
إِلَّآ إِبۡلِيسَ ٱسۡتَكۡبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
Except Satan; he turned arrogant, and became one of the rejecters
Surah Sad, Verse 74
قَالَ يَـٰٓإِبۡلِيسُ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَن تَسۡجُدَ لِمَا خَلَقۡتُ بِيَدَيَّۖ أَسۡتَكۡبَرۡتَ أَمۡ كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلۡعَالِينَ
He said: "O Satan, what prevented you from yielding to what I have created by My hands? Are you too arrogant? Or are you one of those exalted
Surah Sad, Verse 75
قَالَ أَنَا۠ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡهُ خَلَقۡتَنِي مِن نَّارٖ وَخَلَقۡتَهُۥ مِن طِينٖ
He said: "I am better than he; You created me from fire, and created him from clay
Surah Sad, Verse 76
قَالَ فَٱخۡرُجۡ مِنۡهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٞ
He said: "Therefore exit from it, you are outcast
Surah Sad, Verse 77
وَإِنَّ عَلَيۡكَ لَعۡنَتِيٓ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ
And My curse will be upon you until the Day of Recompense
Surah Sad, Verse 78
قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرۡنِيٓ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ يُبۡعَثُونَ
He said: "My Lord, respite me until the Day they are resurrected
Surah Sad, Verse 79
قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُنظَرِينَ
He said: "You are respited
Surah Sad, Verse 80
إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡوَقۡتِ ٱلۡمَعۡلُومِ
Until the appointed Day
Surah Sad, Verse 81
قَالَ فَبِعِزَّتِكَ لَأُغۡوِيَنَّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ
He said: "By Your majesty, I will mislead them all
Surah Sad, Verse 82
إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنۡهُمُ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ
Except for Your servants who are loyal
Surah Sad, Verse 83
قَالَ فَٱلۡحَقُّ وَٱلۡحَقَّ أَقُولُ
He said: "The truth, and the truth is what I say
Surah Sad, Verse 84
لَأَمۡلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنكَ وَمِمَّن تَبِعَكَ مِنۡهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ
That I will fill Hell with you and all those who follow you
Surah Sad, Verse 85
قُلۡ مَآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ مِنۡ أَجۡرٖ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلۡمُتَكَلِّفِينَ
Say: "I do not ask you for any wage, nor am I a fraud
Surah Sad, Verse 86
إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرٞ لِّلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
It is but a reminder for the worlds
Surah Sad, Verse 87
وَلَتَعۡلَمُنَّ نَبَأَهُۥ بَعۡدَ حِينِۭ
And you will come to know its news after awhile
Surah Sad, Verse 88
