Surah Ghafir Verse 85 - English Translation by Edward Henry Palmer
Surah Ghafirفَلَمۡ يَكُ يَنفَعُهُمۡ إِيمَٰنُهُمۡ لَمَّا رَأَوۡاْ بَأۡسَنَاۖ سُنَّتَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّتِي قَدۡ خَلَتۡ فِي عِبَادِهِۦۖ وَخَسِرَ هُنَالِكَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ
But their faith was of no avail to them when they saw our violence - the course of God with His servants in time past, and there the misbelievers lose
