Surah Al-Hadid Verse 14 - English Translation by Safi Kaskas
Surah Al-Hadidيُنَادُونَهُمۡ أَلَمۡ نَكُن مَّعَكُمۡۖ قَالُواْ بَلَىٰ وَلَٰكِنَّكُمۡ فَتَنتُمۡ أَنفُسَكُمۡ وَتَرَبَّصۡتُمۡ وَٱرۡتَبۡتُمۡ وَغَرَّتۡكُمُ ٱلۡأَمَانِيُّ حَتَّىٰ جَآءَ أَمۡرُ ٱللَّهِ وَغَرَّكُم بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡغَرُورُ
The hypocrites will call to the believers, "Were we not with you?" They will say, "Yes, but you allowed yourselves to be tempted, and waited and doubted, deceived by wishful thinking until God's command came and the Deceiver deceived you about God
