Surah Al-Mujadila Verse 11 - English Translation by Syed Vickar Ahamed
Surah Al-Mujadilaيَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِذَا قِيلَ لَكُمۡ تَفَسَّحُواْ فِي ٱلۡمَجَٰلِسِ فَٱفۡسَحُواْ يَفۡسَحِ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمۡۖ وَإِذَا قِيلَ ٱنشُزُواْ فَٱنشُزُواْ يَرۡفَعِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مِنكُمۡ وَٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ دَرَجَٰتٖۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِيرٞ
O you who believe! When you are told to make room in the gatherings, (spread out and) make room: (Ample) room will Allah provide for you. And when you are told to rise up, then rise up: Allah will raise up, to (suitable) ranks (and levels), those of you who believe and who have been granted (mystic) knowledge. And Allah is Well Acquainted with all you do
