Surah Al-Bayyina - English Translation by Mir Aneesuddin
لَمۡ يَكُنِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ وَٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ مُنفَكِّينَ حَتَّىٰ تَأۡتِيَهُمُ ٱلۡبَيِّنَةُ
Those who do not believe from among the owners of the book and the polytheists would not have left off (falsehood) till the clear proof had come to them (in the form of)
Surah Al-Bayyina, Verse 1
رَسُولٞ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ يَتۡلُواْ صُحُفٗا مُّطَهَّرَةٗ
a messenger from God, reading clean pages
Surah Al-Bayyina, Verse 2
فِيهَا كُتُبٞ قَيِّمَةٞ
containing established ordinances
Surah Al-Bayyina, Verse 3
وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَآءَتۡهُمُ ٱلۡبَيِّنَةُ
And those who were given the book did not become divided except after the clear proof came to them
Surah Al-Bayyina, Verse 4
وَمَآ أُمِرُوٓاْ إِلَّا لِيَعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ حُنَفَآءَ وَيُقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤۡتُواْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَۚ وَذَٰلِكَ دِينُ ٱلۡقَيِّمَةِ
And they were not ordered anything except that they should serve God, keeping religion exclusively for Him, being those who stand firm on that which is right, and (that they should) establish worship (salat) and give charity (zakat), and that is the established religion
Surah Al-Bayyina, Verse 5
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ وَٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمۡ شَرُّ ٱلۡبَرِيَّةِ
Those who do not believe from among the owners of the book and the polytheists will certainly be in the fire of hell, staying therein, those are the persons who are the worst of creatures
Surah Al-Bayyina, Verse 6
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمۡ خَيۡرُ ٱلۡبَرِيَّةِ
Those who believe and do righteous works those certainly are the persons who are the best of creatures
Surah Al-Bayyina, Verse 7
جَزَآؤُهُمۡ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡ جَنَّـٰتُ عَدۡنٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدٗاۖ رَّضِيَ ٱللَّهُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَرَضُواْ عَنۡهُۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنۡ خَشِيَ رَبَّهُۥ
Their reward is with their Lord: Gardens of everlasting bliss, underneath which rivers flow, they will stay therein for ever, God pleased with them and they pleased with Him. That is for him who fears his Lord
Surah Al-Bayyina, Verse 8
