Surah Al-Bayyina - English Translation by Abdul Hye
لَمۡ يَكُنِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ وَٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ مُنفَكِّينَ حَتَّىٰ تَأۡتِيَهُمُ ٱلۡبَيِّنَةُ
Those who disbelieve from among the people of the Scripture and from the polytheists were not going to leave (from their disbelief) until clear evidence came to them
Surah Al-Bayyina, Verse 1
رَسُولٞ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ يَتۡلُواْ صُحُفٗا مُّطَهَّرَةٗ
a Messenger from Allah reciting from the purified pages
Surah Al-Bayyina, Verse 2
فِيهَا كُتُبٞ قَيِّمَةٞ
containing correct and right laws (in Scriptures)
Surah Al-Bayyina, Verse 3
وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَآءَتۡهُمُ ٱلۡبَيِّنَةُ
And those who were given the Scripture did not differ until after clear evidence (this Qur’an) came to them
Surah Al-Bayyina, Verse 4
وَمَآ أُمِرُوٓاْ إِلَّا لِيَعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ حُنَفَآءَ وَيُقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤۡتُواْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَۚ وَذَٰلِكَ دِينُ ٱلۡقَيِّمَةِ
And they were commanded nothing but to worship Allah with their sincere devotion to Him, being upright (true in their faith); to establish prayer, to pay obligatory charity; and that is the right religion
Surah Al-Bayyina, Verse 5
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ وَٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمۡ شَرُّ ٱلۡبَرِيَّةِ
Surely, those who disbelieve from among the people of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the fire of hell. They will abide in it forever. They are the worst of all creatures
Surah Al-Bayyina, Verse 6
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمۡ خَيۡرُ ٱلۡبَرِيَّةِ
Surely, those who believe and do righteous deeds, they are the best of all creatures
Surah Al-Bayyina, Verse 7
جَزَآؤُهُمۡ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡ جَنَّـٰتُ عَدۡنٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدٗاۖ رَّضِيَ ٱللَّهُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَرَضُواْ عَنۡهُۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنۡ خَشِيَ رَبَّهُۥ
Their reward with their Lord shall be the gardens of Eden (eternity), beneath which rivers flow, they will abide in it forever. Allah will be pleased with them and they will be pleased with Him. That is for those who fear their Lord
Surah Al-Bayyina, Verse 8
