Surah Al-Qadr - English Translation by Abdul Hye
إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ فِي لَيۡلَةِ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ
Surely! We have sent this (Qur’an) down in the night of Decree (Qadr)
Surah Al-Qadr, Verse 1
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ
What will make you understand what the night of Decree (Qadr) is
Surah Al-Qadr, Verse 2
لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡ أَلۡفِ شَهۡرٖ
The night of Decree is better than 1,000 months
Surah Al-Qadr, Verse 3
تَنَزَّلُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمۡرٖ
The angels and the spirit (Gabriel) descend at that night by the permission of their Lord with all Decrees
Surah Al-Qadr, Verse 4
سَلَٰمٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطۡلَعِ ٱلۡفَجۡرِ
(All that night) there is peace till the appearance of dawn
Surah Al-Qadr, Verse 5
