Surah Al-Qadr - English Translation by Safi Kaskas
إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ فِي لَيۡلَةِ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ
We sent this [Qur'an] down during the Night of Decree
Surah Al-Qadr, Verse 1
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ
But how would you know what is the Night of Decree
Surah Al-Qadr, Verse 2
لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡ أَلۡفِ شَهۡرٖ
The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months
Surah Al-Qadr, Verse 3
تَنَزَّلُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمۡرٖ
During that Night, the angels and the Spirit descend by their Lord's authority for a variety of matters
Surah Al-Qadr, Verse 4
سَلَٰمٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطۡلَعِ ٱلۡفَجۡرِ
There is peace that night until the coming of dawn
Surah Al-Qadr, Verse 5
