Surah Al-Qadr - English Translation by Edward Henry Palmer
إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ فِي لَيۡلَةِ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ
Verily, we sent it down on the Night of Power
Surah Al-Qadr, Verse 1
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ
And what shall make thee know what the Night of Power is
Surah Al-Qadr, Verse 2
لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡ أَلۡفِ شَهۡرٖ
the Night of Power is better than a thousand months
Surah Al-Qadr, Verse 3
تَنَزَّلُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمۡرٖ
The angels and the Spirit descend therein, by the permission of their Lord with every bidding
Surah Al-Qadr, Verse 4
سَلَٰمٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطۡلَعِ ٱلۡفَجۡرِ
Peace it is until rising of the dawn
Surah Al-Qadr, Verse 5
