Surah Al-Asr - English Translation by Mir Aneesuddin
وَٱلۡعَصۡرِ
By the time (i.e. historic time is witness that)
Surah Al-Asr, Verse 1
إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لَفِي خُسۡرٍ
Man is certainly at a loss
Surah Al-Asr, Verse 2
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ
except those who believe and do righteous works and recommend to one another, the truth, and recommend to one another, patience
