Surah Al-Asr - English Translation by Safi Kaskas
وَٱلۡعَصۡرِ
I swear by the Late Afternoon
Surah Al-Asr, Verse 1
إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لَفِي خُسۡرٍ
the human being is surely, in a state of loss
Surah Al-Asr, Verse 2
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ
Except for those who have believed and done good deeds and urged one another to the Truth and urged one another to patience
