Surah Al-Baqara Verse 17 - English Translation by Ali Bakhtiari Nejad
Surah Al-Baqaraمَثَلُهُمۡ كَمَثَلِ ٱلَّذِي ٱسۡتَوۡقَدَ نَارٗا فَلَمَّآ أَضَآءَتۡ مَا حَوۡلَهُۥ ذَهَبَ ٱللَّهُ بِنُورِهِمۡ وَتَرَكَهُمۡ فِي ظُلُمَٰتٖ لَّا يُبۡصِرُونَ
Their example is like someone who started a fire, and when it lit up around him, God took away their light and left them in darkness unable to see
