Surah Az-Zukhruf - English Translation by Ali Bakhtiari Nejad
حمٓ
M. (Ha. Mim)
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 1
وَٱلۡكِتَٰبِ ٱلۡمُبِينِ
By the clear (and clarifying) book
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 2
إِنَّا جَعَلۡنَٰهُ قُرۡءَٰنًا عَرَبِيّٗا لَّعَلَّكُمۡ تَعۡقِلُونَ
Indeed We made it an Arabic Quran so that you may understand
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 3
وَإِنَّهُۥ فِيٓ أُمِّ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لَدَيۡنَا لَعَلِيٌّ حَكِيمٌ
And it is indeed in the main book with Us, (and it is) outstanding and wise
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 4
أَفَنَضۡرِبُ عَنكُمُ ٱلذِّكۡرَ صَفۡحًا أَن كُنتُمۡ قَوۡمٗا مُّسۡرِفِينَ
Should We take the reminder away from you, ignoring you because you are excessive people
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 5
وَكَمۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن نَّبِيّٖ فِي ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
And how many prophets did We send among the earlier ones
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 6
وَمَا يَأۡتِيهِم مِّن نَّبِيٍّ إِلَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ
And no prophet came to them, unless they were ridiculing him
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 7
فَأَهۡلَكۡنَآ أَشَدَّ مِنۡهُم بَطۡشٗا وَمَضَىٰ مَثَلُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
So We destroyed more courageous (and more powerful people) than them, and the example of the earlier ones passed by
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 8
وَلَئِن سَأَلۡتَهُم مَّنۡ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ خَلَقَهُنَّ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
And if you ask them: who created the skies and the earth? They shall say: the powerful and the knowledgeable created them
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 9
ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ مَهۡدٗا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمۡ فِيهَا سُبُلٗا لَّعَلَّكُمۡ تَهۡتَدُونَ
The One who made the earth a bed for you and He made roadways for you in it so that you may be guided (and find your way)
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 10
وَٱلَّذِي نَزَّلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءَۢ بِقَدَرٖ فَأَنشَرۡنَا بِهِۦ بَلۡدَةٗ مَّيۡتٗاۚ كَذَٰلِكَ تُخۡرَجُونَ
And the One who sent down rain from the sky with (proper) measure, then We brought dead land back to life with it. That is how you are brought out
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 11
وَٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلۡأَزۡوَٰجَ كُلَّهَا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡفُلۡكِ وَٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ مَا تَرۡكَبُونَ
And the One who created pairs of everything, and made the ships and the livestock for you to ride
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 12
لِتَسۡتَوُۥاْ عَلَىٰ ظُهُورِهِۦ ثُمَّ تَذۡكُرُواْ نِعۡمَةَ رَبِّكُمۡ إِذَا ٱسۡتَوَيۡتُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ وَتَقُولُواْ سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُۥ مُقۡرِنِينَ
So that you settle on its back, then when you are settled on it remember the favor of your Master and say: glory to the One (who is flawless) who brought this under our control (to be of service to us) while we were not capable of it
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 13
وَإِنَّآ إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُونَ
And we certainly return to our Master
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 14
وَجَعَلُواْ لَهُۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦ جُزۡءًاۚ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لَكَفُورٞ مُّبِينٌ
And they made a part (an offspring) for Him from His servants. Indeed the human being is clearly ungrateful
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 15
أَمِ ٱتَّخَذَ مِمَّا يَخۡلُقُ بَنَاتٖ وَأَصۡفَىٰكُم بِٱلۡبَنِينَ
Did He take daughters (for Himself) from what He creates, and He chose sons for you
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 16
وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِمَا ضَرَبَ لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ مَثَلٗا ظَلَّ وَجۡهُهُۥ مُسۡوَدّٗا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ
And when one of them is given good news of what he assigns to the beneficent, his face turns dark (and shameful) while he holds back his anger
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 17
أَوَمَن يُنَشَّؤُاْ فِي ٱلۡحِلۡيَةِ وَهُوَ فِي ٱلۡخِصَامِ غَيۡرُ مُبِينٖ
Or (do they assign to God) someone who is raised in luxury, and who is unclear in the debate
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 18
وَجَعَلُواْ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عِبَٰدُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ إِنَٰثًاۚ أَشَهِدُواْ خَلۡقَهُمۡۚ سَتُكۡتَبُ شَهَٰدَتُهُمۡ وَيُسۡـَٔلُونَ
And they made the angels, those who are servants of the beneficent, females! Did they witness their creation? Their testimony is going to be written down and they will be questioned
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 19
وَقَالُواْ لَوۡ شَآءَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ مَا عَبَدۡنَٰهُمۗ مَّا لَهُم بِذَٰلِكَ مِنۡ عِلۡمٍۖ إِنۡ هُمۡ إِلَّا يَخۡرُصُونَ
And they said: if the beneficent wanted, we would not have served them. They have no knowledge of that, they only guess
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 20
أَمۡ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمۡ كِتَٰبٗا مِّن قَبۡلِهِۦ فَهُم بِهِۦ مُسۡتَمۡسِكُونَ
Or did We give them a book before it, which they are adhering to it
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 21
بَلۡ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا وَجَدۡنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا عَلَىٰٓ أُمَّةٖ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِم مُّهۡتَدُونَ
No, but they said: we found our fathers on a course, and we are guided by their footsteps
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 22
وَكَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ فِي قَرۡيَةٖ مِّن نَّذِيرٍ إِلَّا قَالَ مُتۡرَفُوهَآ إِنَّا وَجَدۡنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا عَلَىٰٓ أُمَّةٖ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِم مُّقۡتَدُونَ
And the same way, We did not send any town anyone as a warner before you, unless its rich (and wealthy) said: we found our fathers on a course, and we are following their footsteps
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 23
۞قَٰلَ أَوَلَوۡ جِئۡتُكُم بِأَهۡدَىٰ مِمَّا وَجَدتُّمۡ عَلَيۡهِ ءَابَآءَكُمۡۖ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا بِمَآ أُرۡسِلۡتُم بِهِۦ كَٰفِرُونَ
He (the warner) said: even if I have brought you a better guidance than what you found your fathers upon it? They said: we disbelieve in what you were sent with it
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 24
فَٱنتَقَمۡنَا مِنۡهُمۡۖ فَٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
Then We took revenge from them, so see what the end of those who denied was
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 25
وَإِذۡ قَالَ إِبۡرَٰهِيمُ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوۡمِهِۦٓ إِنَّنِي بَرَآءٞ مِّمَّا تَعۡبُدُونَ
And (remember) when Abraham told his father and his people: I am free of what you serve
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 26
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِي فَطَرَنِي فَإِنَّهُۥ سَيَهۡدِينِ
except the One who created me, indeed He is going to guide me
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 27
وَجَعَلَهَا كَلِمَةَۢ بَاقِيَةٗ فِي عَقِبِهِۦ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡجِعُونَ
And he made it a lasting word among his descendants so that they may return (to God)
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 28
بَلۡ مَتَّعۡتُ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ وَءَابَآءَهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ جَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡحَقُّ وَرَسُولٞ مُّبِينٞ
No, but I made these and their fathers enjoy until the truth and a clarifying messenger came to them
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 29
وَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡحَقُّ قَالُواْ هَٰذَا سِحۡرٞ وَإِنَّا بِهِۦ كَٰفِرُونَ
And when the truth came to them, they said: this is a magic and we are disbelievers in it
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 30
وَقَالُواْ لَوۡلَا نُزِّلَ هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡقَرۡيَتَيۡنِ عَظِيمٍ
And they said: why this Quran was not sent down to a great man from the two towns (Mecca and Taif)
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 31
أَهُمۡ يَقۡسِمُونَ رَحۡمَتَ رَبِّكَۚ نَحۡنُ قَسَمۡنَا بَيۡنَهُم مَّعِيشَتَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۚ وَرَفَعۡنَا بَعۡضَهُمۡ فَوۡقَ بَعۡضٖ دَرَجَٰتٖ لِّيَتَّخِذَ بَعۡضُهُم بَعۡضٗا سُخۡرِيّٗاۗ وَرَحۡمَتُ رَبِّكَ خَيۡرٞ مِّمَّا يَجۡمَعُونَ
Do they divide up (and distribute) your Master’s mercy? We divided their livelihood (and wealth) between them in this world’s life. And We raised some of them above the others in ranks so that some of them take the others into service. And your Master’s mercy is better than what they accumulate
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 32
وَلَوۡلَآ أَن يَكُونَ ٱلنَّاسُ أُمَّةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ لَّجَعَلۡنَا لِمَن يَكۡفُرُ بِٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ لِبُيُوتِهِمۡ سُقُفٗا مِّن فِضَّةٖ وَمَعَارِجَ عَلَيۡهَا يَظۡهَرُونَ
And if it was not that the people would become a single community (of disbelievers), We would have made houses, for anyone who disbelieves in the beneficent, with silver roofs and (silver) ladders to go up on it
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 33
وَلِبُيُوتِهِمۡ أَبۡوَٰبٗا وَسُرُرًا عَلَيۡهَا يَتَّكِـُٔونَ
and (silver) doors for their houses and (silver) couches that they lean on it
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 34
وَزُخۡرُفٗاۚ وَإِن كُلُّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمَّا مَتَٰعُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۚ وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةُ عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ
and (gold) ornament. And all that is only an enjoyment of this world’s life while the hereafter with your Master is for those who control themselves
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 35
وَمَن يَعۡشُ عَن ذِكۡرِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ نُقَيِّضۡ لَهُۥ شَيۡطَٰنٗا فَهُوَ لَهُۥ قَرِينٞ
And anyone who is blind about remembrance of the beneficent, We appoint a devil to him to be close to him
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 36
وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَيَصُدُّونَهُمۡ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ وَيَحۡسَبُونَ أَنَّهُم مُّهۡتَدُونَ
and indeed they shall obstruct them from the (right) way, and they think they are guided
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 37
حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءَنَا قَالَ يَٰلَيۡتَ بَيۡنِي وَبَيۡنَكَ بُعۡدَ ٱلۡمَشۡرِقَيۡنِ فَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡقَرِينُ
Until when he comes to Us, saying: I wish there was distance of the two easts (the east and the west) between you (the appointed devil) and me, what a bad companion
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 38
وَلَن يَنفَعَكُمُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ إِذ ظَّلَمۡتُمۡ أَنَّكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ مُشۡتَرِكُونَ
And (you regret) never benefits you today, since you did wrong, indeed you are partners in the punishment
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 39
أَفَأَنتَ تُسۡمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ أَوۡ تَهۡدِي ٱلۡعُمۡيَ وَمَن كَانَ فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖ
Can you make the deaf hear, or guide the blind and anyone who is in an obvious error
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 40
فَإِمَّا نَذۡهَبَنَّ بِكَ فَإِنَّا مِنۡهُم مُّنتَقِمُونَ
So if We take you away (from this world), then indeed We take revenge from them
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 41
أَوۡ نُرِيَنَّكَ ٱلَّذِي وَعَدۡنَٰهُمۡ فَإِنَّا عَلَيۡهِم مُّقۡتَدِرُونَ
Or (if) We show you that which We promised them, then We indeed have power over them (to do that)
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 42
فَٱسۡتَمۡسِكۡ بِٱلَّذِيٓ أُوحِيَ إِلَيۡكَۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٖ مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ
So hold on to that which We revealed to you, indeed you are on a straight path
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 43
وَإِنَّهُۥ لَذِكۡرٞ لَّكَ وَلِقَوۡمِكَۖ وَسَوۡفَ تُسۡـَٔلُونَ
And indeed it (Quran) is a reminder for you and for your people, and you will be questioned
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 44
وَسۡـَٔلۡ مَنۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ مِن رُّسُلِنَآ أَجَعَلۡنَا مِن دُونِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ءَالِهَةٗ يُعۡبَدُونَ
And ask (the followers of) Our messengers whom We sent before you: did We appoint any gods to be served other than the beneficent
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 45
وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مُوسَىٰ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَمَلَإِيْهِۦ فَقَالَ إِنِّي رَسُولُ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
And We have certainly sent Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his assembly, then he said: I am a messenger from the Master of Human kind
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 46
فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُم بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ إِذَا هُم مِّنۡهَا يَضۡحَكُونَ
But when he brought them Our miracles, they laughed at it
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 47
وَمَا نُرِيهِم مِّنۡ ءَايَةٍ إِلَّا هِيَ أَكۡبَرُ مِنۡ أُخۡتِهَاۖ وَأَخَذۡنَٰهُم بِٱلۡعَذَابِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡجِعُونَ
And We did not show them any miracle unless it was bigger than its sister (the one before it). And We took them with the punishment so that they may return
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 48
وَقَالُواْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَ ٱلسَّاحِرُ ٱدۡعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ بِمَا عَهِدَ عِندَكَ إِنَّنَا لَمُهۡتَدُونَ
And they said: magician, call on your Master for us according to His agreement with you, as we are indeed guided
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 49
فَلَمَّا كَشَفۡنَا عَنۡهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابَ إِذَا هُمۡ يَنكُثُونَ
But when We removed the punishment from them, they immediately broke (their promise)
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 50
وَنَادَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنُ فِي قَوۡمِهِۦ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ أَلَيۡسَ لِي مُلۡكُ مِصۡرَ وَهَٰذِهِ ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِيٓۚ أَفَلَا تُبۡصِرُونَ
And Pharaoh called out among his people, saying: my people, does not the rule of Egypt belong to me as do these rivers flowing underneath me? Do you not see
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 51
أَمۡ أَنَا۠ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي هُوَ مَهِينٞ وَلَا يَكَادُ يُبِينُ
Am I not better than this one who is despicable and cannot express (himself) clearly
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 52
فَلَوۡلَآ أُلۡقِيَ عَلَيۡهِ أَسۡوِرَةٞ مِّن ذَهَبٍ أَوۡ جَآءَ مَعَهُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ مُقۡتَرِنِينَ
So why bracelets of gold were not given to him or the angels did not come accompanying him
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 53
فَٱسۡتَخَفَّ قَوۡمَهُۥ فَأَطَاعُوهُۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ قَوۡمٗا فَٰسِقِينَ
Then he belittled his people and they obeyed him. Indeed they were disobedient people
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 54
فَلَمَّآ ءَاسَفُونَا ٱنتَقَمۡنَا مِنۡهُمۡ فَأَغۡرَقۡنَٰهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ
So when they enraged Us, We took revenge from them and drowned them all
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 55
فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ سَلَفٗا وَمَثَلٗا لِّلۡأٓخِرِينَ
So We made them a thing of the past and an example for the later ones
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 56
۞وَلَمَّا ضُرِبَ ٱبۡنُ مَرۡيَمَ مَثَلًا إِذَا قَوۡمُكَ مِنۡهُ يَصِدُّونَ
And when the son of Mary (Jesus) was given as an example, your people turned away from it (laughing and shouting)
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 57
وَقَالُوٓاْ ءَأَٰلِهَتُنَا خَيۡرٌ أَمۡ هُوَۚ مَا ضَرَبُوهُ لَكَ إِلَّا جَدَلَۢاۚ بَلۡ هُمۡ قَوۡمٌ خَصِمُونَ
And they said: are our gods better or is he? They only gave you (this example) to argue. No, but they are argumentative people
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 58
إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا عَبۡدٌ أَنۡعَمۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ وَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ مَثَلٗا لِّبَنِيٓ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ
He (Jesus) was only a servant whom We favored upon him and We made him an example for children of Israel
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 59
وَلَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَجَعَلۡنَا مِنكُم مَّلَـٰٓئِكَةٗ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ يَخۡلُفُونَ
And if We wanted, We would have made some of you angels on the earth, to succeed you
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 60
وَإِنَّهُۥ لَعِلۡمٞ لِّلسَّاعَةِ فَلَا تَمۡتَرُنَّ بِهَا وَٱتَّبِعُونِۚ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٞ مُّسۡتَقِيمٞ
And it is certainly an indication of the hour, so do not doubt it, and follow Me. This is a straight path
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 61
وَلَا يَصُدَّنَّكُمُ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمۡ عَدُوّٞ مُّبِينٞ
And do not let Satan hold you up, as he is indeed your clear enemy
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 62
وَلَمَّا جَآءَ عِيسَىٰ بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ قَالَ قَدۡ جِئۡتُكُم بِٱلۡحِكۡمَةِ وَلِأُبَيِّنَ لَكُم بَعۡضَ ٱلَّذِي تَخۡتَلِفُونَ فِيهِۖ فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
And when Jesus brought the clear proofs, he said: I have certainly brought you the wisdom to clarify for you some of that which you disagree about it, so be cautious of God and obey me
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 63
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمۡ فَٱعۡبُدُوهُۚ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٞ مُّسۡتَقِيمٞ
Indeed God is He who is my Master and your Master, so serve Him. This is a straight path
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 64
فَٱخۡتَلَفَ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِهِمۡۖ فَوَيۡلٞ لِّلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مِنۡ عَذَابِ يَوۡمٍ أَلِيمٍ
But the parties disagreed among themselves, so woe to those who did wrong from punishment of a painful day
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 65
هَلۡ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا ٱلسَّاعَةَ أَن تَأۡتِيَهُم بَغۡتَةٗ وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ
Do they wait (for anything) except the hour to come to them suddenly, while they do not realize
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 66
ٱلۡأَخِلَّآءُ يَوۡمَئِذِۭ بَعۡضُهُمۡ لِبَعۡضٍ عَدُوٌّ إِلَّا ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ
On that day, the friends are enemy of each other except those who controlled themselves
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 67
يَٰعِبَادِ لَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ وَلَآ أَنتُمۡ تَحۡزَنُونَ
My servants, there is no fear for you today, and you will not be sad
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 68
ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَكَانُواْ مُسۡلِمِينَ
Those who believed in Our signs and were submitted
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 69
ٱدۡخُلُواْ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ أَنتُمۡ وَأَزۡوَٰجُكُمۡ تُحۡبَرُونَ
you and your spouses enter the garden, being delighted
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 70
يُطَافُ عَلَيۡهِم بِصِحَافٖ مِّن ذَهَبٖ وَأَكۡوَابٖۖ وَفِيهَا مَا تَشۡتَهِيهِ ٱلۡأَنفُسُ وَتَلَذُّ ٱلۡأَعۡيُنُۖ وَأَنتُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ
Golden plates and drinking glasses are circulated for them, and whatever the soul desires and pleases the eyes is in there, and you remain in it forever
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 71
وَتِلۡكَ ٱلۡجَنَّةُ ٱلَّتِيٓ أُورِثۡتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ
And this is the garden that you are made to inherit because of what you were doing
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 72
لَكُمۡ فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٞ كَثِيرَةٞ مِّنۡهَا تَأۡكُلُونَ
There are plenty of fruits for you to eat in it
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 73
إِنَّ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ فِي عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدُونَ
Indeed the guilty ones remain in the punishment of hell forever
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 74
لَا يُفَتَّرُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَهُمۡ فِيهِ مُبۡلِسُونَ
It is not reduced for them and they are hopeless in it
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 75
وَمَا ظَلَمۡنَٰهُمۡ وَلَٰكِن كَانُواْ هُمُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
We did not wrong them, but they were the wrongdoers
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 76
وَنَادَوۡاْ يَٰمَٰلِكُ لِيَقۡضِ عَلَيۡنَا رَبُّكَۖ قَالَ إِنَّكُم مَّـٰكِثُونَ
And they call out: master (of hell), have your Master finish us off. He says: indeed you are staying
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 77
لَقَدۡ جِئۡنَٰكُم بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَكُمۡ لِلۡحَقِّ كَٰرِهُونَ
We have certainly brought you the truth, but most of you dislike the truth
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 78
أَمۡ أَبۡرَمُوٓاْ أَمۡرٗا فَإِنَّا مُبۡرِمُونَ
Or did they firmly settle on an issue, then indeed We are firmly settled too
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 79
أَمۡ يَحۡسَبُونَ أَنَّا لَا نَسۡمَعُ سِرَّهُمۡ وَنَجۡوَىٰهُمۚ بَلَىٰ وَرُسُلُنَا لَدَيۡهِمۡ يَكۡتُبُونَ
Or do they think that We do not hear their secret and their whisper? Yes (We hear them), and Our messengers are with them writing
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 80
قُلۡ إِن كَانَ لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ وَلَدٞ فَأَنَا۠ أَوَّلُ ٱلۡعَٰبِدِينَ
Say: if there was a child for the beneficent, then I would be the first of the servants
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 81
سُبۡحَٰنَ رَبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَرۡشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
Master of the skies and the earth, Master of the throne is flawless (and beyond) what they describe
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 82
فَذَرۡهُمۡ يَخُوضُواْ وَيَلۡعَبُواْ حَتَّىٰ يُلَٰقُواْ يَوۡمَهُمُ ٱلَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ
So leave them talk uselessly and play until they meet their day which they are promised
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 83
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ إِلَٰهٞ وَفِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ إِلَٰهٞۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
And He is the One who is god in the skies and god in the earth, and He is the wise, the knowledgeable
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 84
وَتَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِي لَهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا وَعِندَهُۥ عِلۡمُ ٱلسَّاعَةِ وَإِلَيۡهِ تُرۡجَعُونَ
And blessed is the One that the rule of the skies and the earth and whatever between them belongs to Him, and the knowledge of the hour is with Him, and you are returned to Him
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 85
وَلَا يَمۡلِكُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ ٱلشَّفَٰعَةَ إِلَّا مَن شَهِدَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَهُمۡ يَعۡلَمُونَ
And those you call on besides Him have no power of the mediation, except whoever testifies with the truth, and they know (the truth)
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 86
وَلَئِن سَأَلۡتَهُم مَّنۡ خَلَقَهُمۡ لَيَقُولُنَّ ٱللَّهُۖ فَأَنَّىٰ يُؤۡفَكُونَ
And if you ask them who created them? They shall say: God. So how do they deviate
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 87
وَقِيلِهِۦ يَٰرَبِّ إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ قَوۡمٞ لَّا يُؤۡمِنُونَ
And his saying was: my Master, indeed these people do not believe
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 88
فَٱصۡفَحۡ عَنۡهُمۡ وَقُلۡ سَلَٰمٞۚ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ
(God said:) so pardon/ignore them and say peace (and well-being), they will know
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 89
