Surah Az-Zukhruf - English Translation by Tbirving
حمٓ
وَٱلۡكِتَٰبِ ٱلۡمُبِينِ
By the Clear Book
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 2
إِنَّا جَعَلۡنَٰهُ قُرۡءَٰنًا عَرَبِيّٗا لَّعَلَّكُمۡ تَعۡقِلُونَ
We have set up as an Arabic reading so that that you may (all) use your reason
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 3
وَإِنَّهُۥ فِيٓ أُمِّ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لَدَيۡنَا لَعَلِيٌّ حَكِيمٌ
It is [comprised] in the Mother of the Book [which exists] in Our presence, so lofty, wise
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 4
أَفَنَضۡرِبُ عَنكُمُ ٱلذِّكۡرَ صَفۡحًا أَن كُنتُمۡ قَوۡمٗا مُّسۡرِفِينَ
Should We quietly slip the Reminder away from you since you have been such dissipated folk
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 5
وَكَمۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن نَّبِيّٖ فِي ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
How many prophets have We sent to early men
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 6
وَمَا يَأۡتِيهِم مِّن نَّبِيٍّ إِلَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ
No prophet ever came to them unless they made fun of him
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 7
فَأَهۡلَكۡنَآ أَشَدَّ مِنۡهُم بَطۡشٗا وَمَضَىٰ مَثَلُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
We have wiped out more valiant people than they were, and the same has already occurred with early men
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 8
وَلَئِن سَأَلۡتَهُم مَّنۡ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ خَلَقَهُنَّ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
If you should ask them who created Heaven and Earth, they would say: "The Powerful, the Aware has created them
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 9
ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ مَهۡدٗا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمۡ فِيهَا سُبُلٗا لَّعَلَّكُمۡ تَهۡتَدُونَ
the One Who has placed the earth as a cradle for you, and traced highways for you on it so that you may feel guided
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 10
وَٱلَّذِي نَزَّلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءَۢ بِقَدَرٖ فَأَنشَرۡنَا بِهِۦ بَلۡدَةٗ مَّيۡتٗاۚ كَذَٰلِكَ تُخۡرَجُونَ
Who has sent down water from the sky in due measure." Just so have We raised up a dead land with it; thus you (all) will come forth too
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 11
وَٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلۡأَزۡوَٰجَ كُلَّهَا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡفُلۡكِ وَٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ مَا تَرۡكَبُونَ
[He is] the One Who has created all [sorts] of species, and granted you ships and livestock to ride on
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 12
لِتَسۡتَوُۥاْ عَلَىٰ ظُهُورِهِۦ ثُمَّ تَذۡكُرُواْ نِعۡمَةَ رَبِّكُمۡ إِذَا ٱسۡتَوَيۡتُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ وَتَقُولُواْ سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُۥ مُقۡرِنِينَ
so you may mount on their backs. Then once you have mounted (or boarded) them, remember your Lord´s favor and say: "Glory be to Him Who has subjected these to our [use]; we (ourselves) would never achieve it
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 13
وَإِنَّآ إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُونَ
We shall be sent home to our Lord
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 14
وَجَعَلُواْ لَهُۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦ جُزۡءًاۚ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لَكَفُورٞ مُّبِينٌ
Still they have assigned a portion of His own servants to Him; man is so obviously thankless
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 15
أَمِ ٱتَّخَذَ مِمَّا يَخۡلُقُ بَنَاتٖ وَأَصۡفَىٰكُم بِٱلۡبَنِينَ
Or should He adopt daughters from what He creates and single out sons for you
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 16
وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِمَا ضَرَبَ لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ مَثَلٗا ظَلَّ وَجۡهُهُۥ مُسۡوَدّٗا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ
Whenever one of them is notified about the same as he imputes concerning the Mercy-giving, his face becomes dark with gloom and he feels like choking
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 17
أَوَمَن يُنَشَّؤُاْ فِي ٱلۡحِلۡيَةِ وَهُوَ فِي ٱلۡخِصَامِ غَيۡرُ مُبِينٖ
Is someone who is set up just to look pretty while he is unable to discuss things clearly [worth worshipping]
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 18
وَجَعَلُواْ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عِبَٰدُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ إِنَٰثًاۚ أَشَهِدُواْ خَلۡقَهُمۡۚ سَتُكۡتَبُ شَهَٰدَتُهُمۡ وَيُسۡـَٔلُونَ
They even pretend the angels who are the Mercy-giving´s servants are females! Were they present at their own creation? Their testimony will be written down and they will be questioned about it
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 19
وَقَالُواْ لَوۡ شَآءَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ مَا عَبَدۡنَٰهُمۗ مَّا لَهُم بِذَٰلِكَ مِنۡ عِلۡمٍۖ إِنۡ هُمۡ إِلَّا يَخۡرُصُونَ
They say: "If the Mercy-giving had so wished, we would not have worshipped them." No matter what knowledge they may have about that, they are still merely guessing
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 20
أَمۡ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمۡ كِتَٰبٗا مِّن قَبۡلِهِۦ فَهُم بِهِۦ مُسۡتَمۡسِكُونَ
Or have We given them a book already which they try to hold on to
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 21
بَلۡ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا وَجَدۡنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا عَلَىٰٓ أُمَّةٖ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِم مُّهۡتَدُونَ
Moreover they say: "We found our forefathers following such a community and we are merely being guided along their tracks
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 22
وَكَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ فِي قَرۡيَةٖ مِّن نَّذِيرٍ إِلَّا قَالَ مُتۡرَفُوهَآ إِنَّا وَجَدۡنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا عَلَىٰٓ أُمَّةٖ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِم مُّقۡتَدُونَ
Just the same We have not sent any warner into a town previous to you unless its highlivers said: "We found our forefathers with such a community, and are merely being led. along their tracks
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 23
۞قَٰلَ أَوَلَوۡ جِئۡتُكُم بِأَهۡدَىٰ مِمَّا وَجَدتُّمۡ عَلَيۡهِ ءَابَآءَكُمۡۖ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا بِمَآ أُرۡسِلۡتُم بِهِۦ كَٰفِرُونَ
He said: "Even if I should bring you better guidance than what you found your forefathers had?", they would say: ´We reject anything you are sent with
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 24
فَٱنتَقَمۡنَا مِنۡهُمۡۖ فَٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
We have been avenged on them; see what the outcome was for those who denied [it all]
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 25
وَإِذۡ قَالَ إِبۡرَٰهِيمُ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوۡمِهِۦٓ إِنَّنِي بَرَآءٞ مِّمَّا تَعۡبُدُونَ
Thus Abraham told his father and his folk: "I am innocent of what you are serving
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 26
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِي فَطَرَنِي فَإِنَّهُۥ سَيَهۡدِينِ
Only the One Who originated me will guide me
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 27
وَجَعَلَهَا كَلِمَةَۢ بَاقِيَةٗ فِي عَقِبِهِۦ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡجِعُونَ
He left it as an enduring word with his posterity so they might return (to it)
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 28
بَلۡ مَتَّعۡتُ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ وَءَابَآءَهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ جَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡحَقُّ وَرَسُولٞ مُّبِينٞ
Indeed I have let those (men) as well as their forefathers enjoy things until Truth and a plain messenger should come to them
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 29
وَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡحَقُّ قَالُواْ هَٰذَا سِحۡرٞ وَإِنَّا بِهِۦ كَٰفِرُونَ
Yet whenever Truth did come to them, they said: "This is magic! We disbelieve in it
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 30
وَقَالُواْ لَوۡلَا نُزِّلَ هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡقَرۡيَتَيۡنِ عَظِيمٍ
They said: ´If this Reading were only sent down to some important man from either town
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 31
أَهُمۡ يَقۡسِمُونَ رَحۡمَتَ رَبِّكَۚ نَحۡنُ قَسَمۡنَا بَيۡنَهُم مَّعِيشَتَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۚ وَرَفَعۡنَا بَعۡضَهُمۡ فَوۡقَ بَعۡضٖ دَرَجَٰتٖ لِّيَتَّخِذَ بَعۡضُهُم بَعۡضٗا سُخۡرِيّٗاۗ وَرَحۡمَتُ رَبِّكَ خَيۡرٞ مِّمَّا يَجۡمَعُونَ
Are they dividing up your Lord´s mercy? We divide up their livelihood among them during worldly life, and raise some of them higher in rank than others so that some of them may take advantage of the labor of others. Your Lord´s mercy is better than what they are collecting
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 32
وَلَوۡلَآ أَن يَكُونَ ٱلنَّاسُ أُمَّةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ لَّجَعَلۡنَا لِمَن يَكۡفُرُ بِٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ لِبُيُوتِهِمۡ سُقُفٗا مِّن فِضَّةٖ وَمَعَارِجَ عَلَيۡهَا يَظۡهَرُونَ
If it were not that mankind has been a single nation, We would grant anyone who disbelieves in the Mercy-giving silver roofs for their houses and staircases to climb up on
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 33
وَلِبُيُوتِهِمۡ أَبۡوَٰبٗا وَسُرُرًا عَلَيۡهَا يَتَّكِـُٔونَ
and doors for their houses and couches to recline on
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 34
وَزُخۡرُفٗاۚ وَإِن كُلُّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمَّا مَتَٰعُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۚ وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةُ عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ
and [similar] luxury! All that means nothing except enjoyment during worldly life while those who do their duty will [spend] the Hereafter with your Lord
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 35
وَمَن يَعۡشُ عَن ذِكۡرِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ نُقَيِّضۡ لَهُۥ شَيۡطَٰنٗا فَهُوَ لَهُۥ قَرِينٞ
We assign anyone who fails to remember the Mercy-giving at nightfall, a devil who will become a soulmate for him
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 36
وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَيَصُدُّونَهُمۡ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ وَيَحۡسَبُونَ أَنَّهُم مُّهۡتَدُونَ
They divert them from the [right] way while they may reckon they are guided
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 37
حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءَنَا قَالَ يَٰلَيۡتَ بَيۡنِي وَبَيۡنَكَ بُعۡدَ ٱلۡمَشۡرِقَيۡنِ فَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡقَرِينُ
until when he comes up to Us, he says: "Alas, if the distance between the two Easts only lay between you and me! He´s such an awful soulmate
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 38
وَلَن يَنفَعَكُمُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ إِذ ظَّلَمۡتُمۡ أَنَّكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ مُشۡتَرِكُونَ
It will never benefit you today to have any partners in torment since you have already gone wrong
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 39
أَفَأَنتَ تُسۡمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ أَوۡ تَهۡدِي ٱلۡعُمۡيَ وَمَن كَانَ فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖ
Will you make the deaf hear or guide the blind, as well as anyone else who is in obvious error
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 40
فَإِمَّا نَذۡهَبَنَّ بِكَ فَإِنَّا مِنۡهُم مُّنتَقِمُونَ
Even should We take you away, We will still be avenged on them
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 41
أَوۡ نُرِيَنَّكَ ٱلَّذِي وَعَدۡنَٰهُمۡ فَإِنَّا عَلَيۡهِم مُّقۡتَدِرُونَ
Or shall We show you what We have promised them? We are Competent to deal with them
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 42
فَٱسۡتَمۡسِكۡ بِٱلَّذِيٓ أُوحِيَ إِلَيۡكَۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٖ مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ
Hold on to whatever has been revealed to you; you are on a Straight Road
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 43
وَإِنَّهُۥ لَذِكۡرٞ لَّكَ وَلِقَوۡمِكَۖ وَسَوۡفَ تُسۡـَٔلُونَ
It is a Reminder for you and your folk, and you will (all) be questioned
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 44
وَسۡـَٔلۡ مَنۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ مِن رُّسُلِنَآ أَجَعَلۡنَا مِن دُونِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ءَالِهَةٗ يُعۡبَدُونَ
Question any of Our messengers We have sent before you: "Did We set up any [other] gods they should serve instead of the Mercy-giving
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 45
وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مُوسَىٰ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَمَلَإِيْهِۦ فَقَالَ إِنِّي رَسُولُ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
We sent Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his courtiers, and he said: "I am a messenger from the Lord of the Universe
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 46
فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُم بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ إِذَا هُم مِّنۡهَا يَضۡحَكُونَ
When he brought them Our signs, they merely laughed at them
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 47
وَمَا نُرِيهِم مِّنۡ ءَايَةٍ إِلَّا هِيَ أَكۡبَرُ مِنۡ أُخۡتِهَاۖ وَأَخَذۡنَٰهُم بِٱلۡعَذَابِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡجِعُونَ
Yet We did not show them any sign unless it was even greater than the one that had preceded it. We afflicted them with torment so that they might return
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 48
وَقَالُواْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَ ٱلسَّاحِرُ ٱدۡعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ بِمَا عَهِدَ عِندَكَ إِنَّنَا لَمُهۡتَدُونَ
They said: "Mr. Magician, appeal to your Lord for us concerning what He had pledged to you; we will act as if we are guided
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 49
فَلَمَّا كَشَفۡنَا عَنۡهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابَ إِذَا هُمۡ يَنكُثُونَ
Yet once We removed torment from them, why they broke their word
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 50
وَنَادَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنُ فِي قَوۡمِهِۦ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ أَلَيۡسَ لِي مُلۡكُ مِصۡرَ وَهَٰذِهِ ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِيٓۚ أَفَلَا تُبۡصِرُونَ
Pharaoh announced it among his people; he said: "My people, do I not hold control over Egypt and these rivers flowing by me? Do you not notice anything
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 51
أَمۡ أَنَا۠ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي هُوَ مَهِينٞ وَلَا يَكَادُ يُبِينُ
Surely I am better than this wretch who can scarcely explain a thing
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 52
فَلَوۡلَآ أُلۡقِيَ عَلَيۡهِ أَسۡوِرَةٞ مِّن ذَهَبٍ أَوۡ جَآءَ مَعَهُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ مُقۡتَرِنِينَ
If he were only presented with gold bracelets or some angels came along hitched up with him!´
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 53
فَٱسۡتَخَفَّ قَوۡمَهُۥ فَأَطَاعُوهُۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ قَوۡمٗا فَٰسِقِينَ
He sneered at his folk, yet they obeyed him; they were such immoral folk
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 54
فَلَمَّآ ءَاسَفُونَا ٱنتَقَمۡنَا مِنۡهُمۡ فَأَغۡرَقۡنَٰهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ
When they provoked Us [sufficiently], We took revenge on them and let them all drown
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 55
فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ سَلَفٗا وَمَثَلٗا لِّلۡأٓخِرِينَ
We left them as has-beens and an example for later men
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 56
۞وَلَمَّا ضُرِبَ ٱبۡنُ مَرۡيَمَ مَثَلًا إِذَا قَوۡمُكَ مِنۡهُ يَصِدُّونَ
When Mary´s son is quoted as an example, why, your people resist him
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 57
وَقَالُوٓاْ ءَأَٰلِهَتُنَا خَيۡرٌ أَمۡ هُوَۚ مَا ضَرَبُوهُ لَكَ إِلَّا جَدَلَۢاۚ بَلۡ هُمۡ قَوۡمٌ خَصِمُونَ
They say: "Are our gods better, or is he?" They quote him to you only for the sake of argument; indeed they are such quarrelsome folk
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 58
إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا عَبۡدٌ أَنۡعَمۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ وَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ مَثَلٗا لِّبَنِيٓ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ
He was only a servant whom We favored and offered as an example to the Children of Israel
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 59
وَلَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَجَعَلۡنَا مِنكُم مَّلَـٰٓئِكَةٗ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ يَخۡلُفُونَ
If We had so wished, We might have made angels out of some of you who would replace you on earth
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 60
وَإِنَّهُۥ لَعِلۡمٞ لِّلسَّاعَةِ فَلَا تَمۡتَرُنَّ بِهَا وَٱتَّبِعُونِۚ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٞ مُّسۡتَقِيمٞ
It will be because of knowledge about the Hour. Do not puzzle over it and follow Me; this is a Straight Road
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 61
وَلَا يَصُدَّنَّكُمُ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمۡ عَدُوّٞ مُّبِينٞ
Do not let Satan hamper you; he is an obvious enemy of yours
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 62
وَلَمَّا جَآءَ عِيسَىٰ بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ قَالَ قَدۡ جِئۡتُكُم بِٱلۡحِكۡمَةِ وَلِأُبَيِّنَ لَكُم بَعۡضَ ٱلَّذِي تَخۡتَلِفُونَ فِيهِۖ فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
When Jesus came with explanations, he said: "I have brought you wisdom, so that I may explain something to you about what you have been differing over. So heed God and obey me
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 63
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمۡ فَٱعۡبُدُوهُۚ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٞ مُّسۡتَقِيمٞ
God is my Lord and your Lord, so serve Him. This is a Straight Road
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 64
فَٱخۡتَلَفَ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِهِمۡۖ فَوَيۡلٞ لِّلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مِنۡ عَذَابِ يَوۡمٍ أَلِيمٍ
Factions have disagreed among themselves. It will be too bad for the ones who have done wrong as [they face] torment on a painful day
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 65
هَلۡ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا ٱلسَّاعَةَ أَن تَأۡتِيَهُم بَغۡتَةٗ وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ
Are they merely waiting for the Hour to come upon them suddenly while they do not even notice it
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 66
ٱلۡأَخِلَّآءُ يَوۡمَئِذِۭ بَعۡضُهُمۡ لِبَعۡضٍ عَدُوٌّ إِلَّا ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ
On that day even bosom friends will become one another´s enemies, unless they have done their duty
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 67
يَٰعِبَادِ لَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ وَلَآ أَنتُمۡ تَحۡزَنُونَ
My servants, you have no need to fear today nor should you feel saddened
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 68
ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَكَانُواْ مُسۡلِمِينَ
[tell] those who believe in Our signs and are committed to [live in] peace
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 69
ٱدۡخُلُواْ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ أَنتُمۡ وَأَزۡوَٰجُكُمۡ تُحۡبَرُونَ
Enter the Garden rejoicing, both you and your spouses
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 70
يُطَافُ عَلَيۡهِم بِصِحَافٖ مِّن ذَهَبٖ وَأَكۡوَابٖۖ وَفِيهَا مَا تَشۡتَهِيهِ ٱلۡأَنفُسُ وَتَلَذُّ ٱلۡأَعۡيُنُۖ وَأَنتُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ
Gold platters and cups will be passed around among them containing anything (their) souls may hanker for and (their) eyes delight in. You will live there forever
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 71
وَتِلۡكَ ٱلۡجَنَّةُ ٱلَّتِيٓ أُورِثۡتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ
Such is the Garden which you will inherit because of what you have been doing
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 72
لَكُمۡ فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٞ كَثِيرَةٞ مِّنۡهَا تَأۡكُلُونَ
You will have plenty of fruit to eat in it
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 73
إِنَّ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ فِي عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدُونَ
Yet criminals will remain in Hell´s torment
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 74
لَا يُفَتَّرُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَهُمۡ فِيهِ مُبۡلِسُونَ
it will not be eased for them and they will feel confounded in it
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 75
وَمَا ظَلَمۡنَٰهُمۡ وَلَٰكِن كَانُواْ هُمُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
Still We will not harm them but rather they have already harmed themselves
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 76
وَنَادَوۡاْ يَٰمَٰلِكُ لِيَقۡضِ عَلَيۡنَا رَبُّكَۖ قَالَ إِنَّكُم مَّـٰكِثُونَ
They will cry out: "Master, have your Lord put an end to us!" He will say: "You must stay on here
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 77
لَقَدۡ جِئۡنَٰكُم بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَكُمۡ لِلۡحَقِّ كَٰرِهُونَ
We brought you the Truth even though most of you detest the Truth
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 78
أَمۡ أَبۡرَمُوٓاْ أَمۡرٗا فَإِنَّا مُبۡرِمُونَ
Or have they tried to use some scheme [against you]? Well, We will try something too
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 79
أَمۡ يَحۡسَبُونَ أَنَّا لَا نَسۡمَعُ سِرَّهُمۡ وَنَجۡوَىٰهُمۚ بَلَىٰ وَرُسُلُنَا لَدَيۡهِمۡ يَكۡتُبُونَ
Or do they reckon that We do not hear their secrets nor how they conspire together? Of course Our messengers are writing it (all) down in their very presence
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 80
قُلۡ إِن كَانَ لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ وَلَدٞ فَأَنَا۠ أَوَّلُ ٱلۡعَٰبِدِينَ
SAY: "If the Mercy-giving had a son, I would be the first to worship [him]
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 81
سُبۡحَٰنَ رَبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَرۡشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
Glory be to the Lord of Heaven and Earth, Lord of the Throne, ahead of what they ascribe [to Him]
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 82
فَذَرۡهُمۡ يَخُوضُواْ وَيَلۡعَبُواْ حَتَّىٰ يُلَٰقُواْ يَوۡمَهُمُ ٱلَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ
Leave them to speculate and play around until they face their day which they have been promised
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 83
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ إِلَٰهٞ وَفِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ إِلَٰهٞۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
He Alone is God in Heaven and God on Earth; He is the Wise, Aware
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 84
وَتَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِي لَهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا وَعِندَهُۥ عِلۡمُ ٱلسَّاعَةِ وَإِلَيۡهِ تُرۡجَعُونَ
Blessed is He Who holds control over Heaven and Earth, and anything in between them. He has knowledge of the Hour and to Him will you be returned
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 85
وَلَا يَمۡلِكُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ ٱلشَّفَٰعَةَ إِلَّا مَن شَهِدَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَهُمۡ يَعۡلَمُونَ
The ones whom they appeal to instead of Him control no intercession except for someone who testifies concerning the Truth, and they realize it
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 86
وَلَئِن سَأَلۡتَهُم مَّنۡ خَلَقَهُمۡ لَيَقُولُنَّ ٱللَّهُۖ فَأَنَّىٰ يُؤۡفَكُونَ
If you should ask them Who created them, they would say: "God [Alone]"; and yet they shrug Him off
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 87
وَقِيلِهِۦ يَٰرَبِّ إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ قَوۡمٞ لَّا يُؤۡمِنُونَ
So he says: "My Lord, those are folk who do not believe
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 88
فَٱصۡفَحۡ عَنۡهُمۡ وَقُلۡ سَلَٰمٞۚ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ
Disregard them, and say: "Peace [be on you!" instead]. They will realize it eventually
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 89
